One thing I don’t like about cas for sims 4 occults, is that you have to make a completely new sim to make an occult. It very annoying when u make a sim and then want them to be a vamp of witch and u can’t!

You can become a spellcaster or vampire as an existing sim, you just have to ask one of the master spellcasters in the floating magic island world, or befriend a vampire and ask to get turned. In the sims 3 you had to make a new sim to be a witch or fairy and I think you could randomly have a genie child but not make genie sims. You can ask to get bit/turned as an existing sim for vampire or werewolf though.

This is my biggest pet peeve, soo many times i wanted to change from occult to human and vise versa. And you cant. Its soo stupid, sims 4 fix it.

I've never had a problem becoming an occult with an existing sim, becoming human again is a bit more difficult for vampires but definitely doable

i just love the fact that in the sims 3 kids and toddlers manifest theyr occult form, it should be a thing even in the sims 4, i really hope they add some toddler and kids occult dinamics when (if) they refresh the packs.

I love spellcaster children. They can have familiars, and while they don't do magic outside of CAS they always do their "whoops, I accidentally did a spell!" animation when in CAS =)

If we get bodyhair, I hope it's a lot more ... realistic. Ending at the neck is weird. I also really hate that the underbite and the form of the face. I think the big thing I want is that they're less dog and more wolves. I really did enjoy the Sims 2 werewolves. And possibly an animal form, so human/werewolf/wolf forms?

I don't think a werewolf+wolf form is necessary, in my opinion if ur a werewolf u have ur human form and ur wolfy form 🤔 for the sims4 they're definitely going to be humanoid, but I think they'll be totally hair covered and have more animalistic faces... so like visually half way between a full wolf and a sims 3 wolf

Classic werewolves are humanoid like this, with underbites. (Think of it as the complete opposite of vampire fangs). A "wolf" form is much less common although made mainstream by Twilight. The only other film I can think of with a full wolf form is American Werewolf in London, but even that is seen as uncommon in pop culture werewolves.

People say all the time that they actually prefer occults having their own game pack so they can be fleshed out more, which I agree, but the Sims 3 Supernatural came with several occults and all of them are super fleshed out, at least on the same level as in the Sims 4 I find. lol

They have split them up so they can make more money, not to flesh them out more. It does allow players to skip the occults they aren't interested in though.

What I love in the sims 3 supernatural is that moonlight falls had a in game family that was inspired by Twilight . It has Bella and Charlie and it made me live out my twilight dream in sims.

I can't wait to see the werewolves on TS4. I hope they will be more wolf (Van helsing, Twilight, Wolfblood, Wolf children) and less human like in TS3 (Teen wolf). In brief: I want more animal nature!

Oh I’d love to see you revisit the sims 3! This made me feel so nostalgic for your old sims 3 videos :) I’m also just so excited for werewolves! I think the “dark form” system that they used on aliens with their disguise, on vampires and in a technical sense also on mermaids would lend itself perfectly to werewolves. I just hope that they make them have more special abilities, because I feel like with the sims 3, they were just glorified gatherers. I always used to want to play with them and get frustrated really quickly when playing with them since they don’t do that much in the end 😅

My favorite thing about the world for this pack was that it was a huge nod to Twilight and Vampire Diaries! The werewolf vs vampire feud over who founded the city? That's almost directly ripped from Vampire Diaries! As a fan of supernatural type media, this whole world was just amazing! (They also have a house that's a reference to A Series of Unfortunate Events! Has a Count Olaf and 3 kids - just by similar but different names.) I do think that they went too hard on trying to make these werewolves look like the original (and hideous) wolfman from the old horror film. I want more bestial forms! Not an underbite-hairy-person who looks like they ran into a wall a few times...face first. - The flying vacuum is a nod to the movie 'Hocus Pocus'!

the more you find and cut gems, the more designs you can learn. Most of them unlock by cutting but if you find enough unique gems, you can find the heart shape which is worth a lot of money.

hey deli! just wanted to give you the heads up that the g word at 14:53 is actually recognized as a slur in a lot of cultural contexts and targets people with roma or romani origin. there's a good chance that this is the reason why preexisting in-game depictions of "fortune tellers" (which is often rooted in ethnic stereotypes) won't show up in future sims releases. hope this doesn't come off as a hateful dig or anything, just wanted to let you know for future reference ❤

I’m sure you didn’t know but this word 14:54 and 20:39is a slur for Romani people. I wanted to let you know bc it’s unfortunately used as a word for like fortune tellers/a kind of boho aesthetic (bc appropriation) so it pops up a lot more frequently than many other slurs

I miss the Sims 3 so much, this pack had so much replayability (lol is that a word?). I played every pack, and even with my old computer it played so smooth. Ah cars, open worlds, being able to go into your home from clear across the map and grab and drop items into your inventory rarely a load screen, following your vehicles from destination to destination. Following your horse rides all over the map! Uh, the younguns have no idea, lol

I was not able to play the Sims 3 Supernatural either but this was really a nice review. I wouldn't mind having fairies and werewolves but there is just something abut zombies that always gets to me. Thanks for the throwback Deli! I hope we get lots of cool new things in this pack so excited. I perfer Sims 4 tech but the animations from sims 2 and 3 were really natural! I hope they bring those back.

in sims 3 whenever there is a full moon and at night, i think it is at 7:00 pm. they turn and get very hungry. Then at daybreak they turn back to human.

You’re able to click on need related moodlets and it’ll queue up an action to fill the need! Not quite the same as games like Sims 4, or The Sims Life Stories where you clicked a letter on the keyboard to fill a certain need, but it is still there in Sims 3 :)

I loved how detailed it was in the sims 3 but its really easy to forget that it was Hard to run the game on most computers back then. The sims 4 was a bout making it very usable for everyone. So I appreciate that idea behind them separating the occults but i do hope they can hunt in packs and have ripped clothing and all that! aww I miss this game I played for HOURS with super natural, it was my favorite!

My favorite thing to do with the Supernatural pack is pea shoot the zombies. I even use the pea shooter on the paparazzi. It would be nice to see TS3 videos and you could even pick part of TS3 and do a video on like the ghost hunting, for example. Maybe it could ghost hunter or some other job by day werewolf by night or fairies or one of each supernatural in one household. Maybe even get some sims to woohoo in a Sarcophagus and/or mausoleum. It would be like a sims retro video that you do every and again.

Maybe you could revisit all of the Sims 3 with a new Let's Play or Legacy Challenge possibly? ( with NRAAS Story Progression and MasterController too?) There is a new mod by LazyDuchess on MTS called Smooth Patch that helps with all of the lag that comes with the Sims 3 as well. Just wanted to mention as it really did improve gameplay so much for me! Great video as always, Deli!

I've always loved werewolves and everyone always says how they are ugly but what werewolves is good looking anyways. I still play sims 3 to this day just to revist all the things sims 4 miss out on. If the new sims 4 pack is werewolves I hope its just as good as the sims 3 one, I love going on hunts and scaring other sims and not ebing able to control my beastly side when its full moon or my mood is bad, I find it my favourite supernatural.

Deli, when I was playing 100 Baby Challenge I wanted to murder all the kids from the third generation, except one,(she was a witch), because they would turn into werewolves at the slightest sign of stress, for example: If they wanted to use a bathroom. They would thrash entire house, I had to buy a new couch every two days. IT WAS A LIVING NIGHTMARE! I'm avoiding werewolves in TS3 eversince.

Ha ! I haven't been playing Sims 3 for over a year. I think i will blow the dust off and move to Moonlight Falls for a bit. I started playing Sims late. 9-ish years ago. Supernatural was the last pack i added. I thought that i wasn't interested in fairies, werewolves etc. I was wrong. It's a very fun pack.

I like this video, I would like if you do the video about Sims 3 witches and alchemy. I remember when I played Sims 3 It was fun to experiment with finding and growing different ingredients and creating potions. I remember alchemy is a profession in the Sims 3 and every sims could get this profession and earn money with creating potions. It' s sad that there is no such profession in Sims4 - you should get a job to get money if your sim is a witch. Also I think It would be interesting to compare potions and curses in Sims 3 and Sims4.

I'm curious if I'll like werewolves in 4. I wasn't a big fan of vampires in 3 but now the occult is tied with my always favorite; witches. I only played with witches in 2.
