This song was part of the Tom Jones concert I attended--when I ran up the aisle [floor seats] and past security to grab Tom's trousers' hem--and yank it!! Even then a form of Spandex was available for dress wear. ( I was probably more impressed with that than the concert itself.) "Delilah" was a tune that everyone I know seemed to sing along with when it came on the radio. And we kept singing it afterwards!! I sang along with you, Geoff--until I realized how well you were playing this tune. New guitar? New or not--you pulled out some terrific sounds in this production. Beyond the status of 'PRO" which you have justly earned, you put a great deal of emotion in your playing. I was feeling the pain of the singer--understood he had reached his wit's end!! That's talent, my friend!! Love, Von

I was never a Tom Jones fan, but when he first arrived on the scene, i was talked into taking a group of woman, from where i was working, to one of his concerts, in a mini bus. A night to remember!!! What were normally a sensible gathering of mixed aged woman, totally lost the plot. As a young apprentice it was quite unnerving! The evening culminated in me being pushed up a hording, to remove a life size poster of Mr Jones! So pleased you enjoyed my humble rendition Von.
