Cooking those veggie noodles in that broth that way was pure genius!! I've said this before, and I'll say it again.... It is so refreshing to see someone cook the way you do on a public platform.... Repurposing packaging, cleaning and reusing Ziploc bags and "disposable" containers... Washing out and using the dregs of hot sauce... Using "dead" or "expired" stuff because really, your senses should determine whether its good or bad, and not necessarily some printed date.. Your creativity and resourcefulness is just wonderful.. Always a fan!!

At first I thought your avocados were already going bad, but once you mentioned that they weren't mashable I realized they aren't ripe. If you wanna speed up the process I see most Mexican moms put them in newspaper and leave on the counter. A new one I learned was to leave them in the same bowl as the bananas, it surprisingly works. If you wanna keep the avocado as long as possible then put in the fridge.

Honestly, spices even aren’t that expensive. I have a massive collection that I’ve curated over 4 years of buying at TJ Maxx, Ross, and Tuesday Morning. My mom has a horrible habit of having 3 of the same thing so sometimes I get one from her I know spices technically expire but like, come on. It’s like makeup. Who is gonna throw that away?

Dry spices last really long time if you just keep in closed container and uses only clean dry spoon. It is just dried powder what can go wrong? Many spices are even anti fungus and anti bacterial.

This might be one of the top 3 videos I've ever seen. This lady is miraculous. Very impressed.
Tip: Next time you're up against under-ripe avocados and a time crunch, "seal" the avocados into a paper bag (has some circulation of air) with one or two bananas. The "trapped" ethene/ethylene gases, from the ever-so-quickly ripening banana(s), will help the avocados to ripen faster too. I hate hard avocados :(. Stay safe and sane.
@susanli28114 жыл бұрын

The problem with these avocados that get brown and look ripe but won't mash and stay very fibrous is that they are refrigerated before they ripen... once they ripen you can refrigerate but not before. It ruins the texture and integrity of the avocados
@larrettamullen40234 жыл бұрын
@@kindralanae Thank you. I haven't come across this issue, but now I know. My avocados reside in a bowl on the counter or table, never the fridge. So unless they get refrigerated before I purchase them (??), I'm good to go.
