I paid $210 per tire. Video was taken the day of install. Major vibration from what I thought was only one tire - Ended up that every tire was out of round. I do not recommend these tires! - Update 4/21/23: Installed all 4 tires. $210/tire - Update 4/22/23: One tire is out of round. Cannot get the pass front to balance out. - Update 4/25/23: All tires were out of round. Changing to a different tire.

I'm sorry these didn't work out for you. I've put around 25,000 miles in just over a year and a half on my current set. They're 35x12.5r17s on a 2020 Colorado ZR2 diesel. I am so much happier with these than the duratracs they replaced. Traction has been incredible in snow, offroad, and on pavement, wet or dry. They're currently my favorite tire I've ever had, especially for the price. I've run ko2s, duratracs, at3w, and now these. I agree, I don't think I'll get much more than 35-40k miles out of them, but for the price, I still think that's excellent. A 35" tire that's sub $225 is an insane deal. I will be getting another set of these. The only cons are longevity. But like I said, for the price, you still come out on top even if it means replacing slightly more often. Oh and mine have balanced just fine. For everyone else, I'd really suggest rotating every 10k miles along with an alignment too but still, I haven’t found them to be any louder than any of the other aggressive all terrain options. Again, it sucks to hear they didn't work out for you and maybe I just got lucky with the set I have right now, but I thought I'd leave my review of them since I feel like I've finally got some miles on them

I recently installed a set I still like them. I had never even heard of this company until recently. Curious how long after installation you started having problems? Im only 3k mile onto the tire, but climbing up rapidly as my truck is my hotshot truck
@socalexpeditions Жыл бұрын
I hope they treat you well! All my problems were immediate. The front right tire was the most problematic and I could feel it the most since it was in the front. The back 2 tires ended up being more out of round than the front.

I can say from owning a set of these tires, they are loud, as for snow and ice these tires grip. They are built out of the same factory as the Kanati Trail Hogs are if I remember correctly. Full disclosure I do work for a wholesale tire company here in NM that sells these tires. I have customers up in Southern CO who swear by them. I've had them on my Tacoma for around 30K miles. Most of my driving is Highway but I do go off road, They do grip well, they have a 3 ply sidewall which does make the ride stiffer. I did have to air the tires down to around 40 psi do to the initial road walking but after the 1st/32 is worn it does go away. They are a very heavy tire. Over all not a bad tire.

I think they are actually a really light tire for their sizing. They come in undersized by a solid 1” in a 37” size unmounted. Problem is, if 4 of them are out of round, they are worthless tires. The bigger the tires the easier to be out of round, of course. In a 33” they may be fine, but after my experience, couldn’t recommend them to anyone. Shows there is no quality control from the factory. Also being an ex Tacoma owner, 40psi is too much for that light truck. I’m sure if you chalked it, it’d be wearing the centers out. When it’s overinflated it tends to walk on the highway. I’m curious if you chalked out at 40psi cold, I’d be shocked

@@socalexpeditions I can say I had the same issue you had, I had 3 that balanced with 0 weight using a road force balancer, the 4th i had to get another one because it came in way out of round. the 2nd 4th one came in @ 1.5 oz. Over all these are good tires. I actually know the owner who produces and distributes these tires and for the most part they have exceeded my expectations. I have heard that same problem from customers saying that they come in just a little smaller than what they say, honestly that comes from the factory overseas where they are built.

@Vince Harding They will run very small, size up. I still do not recommend these. Buy a quality 35” tire!
@socalexpeditions Жыл бұрын
@Vince Harding I swapped them out for Nitto Ridge Grapplers. All I can say is the shop stopped selling these because of how many complaints they got. So buyer beware; I wont try and save a few bucks on tires again

First of all you can see clear as day your front camber are way too positive. Your alignment is all jacked up bud.

0.8 degrees drivers side and 0.1 pass side. Pretty unfixable unfortunately. My toe is -0.8 on the pass side so that might throw you off too. Been meaning to get my toe adjusted but meh, it drives fine. The tires did end up pretty crazy out of balance though. I have ridge grapplers on now and smooth as can be, not one shudder.

Won't this keep happening till you fix the camber

@@ktcjosh The tires being out of balance? No haha. I can have -15 degrees of camber with quality tires balanced well and it’ll ride like butter. My Nitto’s are smooth as day. You cant easily fix the camber on a solid axle.
