@@danielkjm They say a lot of space words but nothing makes much sense. Like this completely nonsensical fake Shuttlle Even some sort of lowest level expert advise would really have helped. I can turn my space brain off and enjoy things. However, there is a limit. Think Armageddon :) But the rest is just endless minigames.

@@0LoneTech What i mostly meant was: Where is the fuel for these 3 MASSIVE engines? Since this Shuttle thing launched on top of the rocket, not the side, it can only fire them once it has seperated. But there is no external big fuel tank. And the one fitting in the tiny Shuttle could last probably up to 3 seconds.... Even the most basic advise would have told them that the iconic Shuttle engines are completely useless once the tank is gone. They just put some space stuff on some space stuff without any thought.

That debris they were struck by from the side in low earth orbit was supposedly from a space elevator terminus station years earlier - attached to Luna, with zero g and no counter mass. So they have a thin pillar under compression fixed to lunar surface reaching L1 and unaffected by librations.

22:00 "I'm so sorry to all the rocket scientists out there, it's probably not a gangplank." It's called a service tower bridge. It's basically a gang plank. I'm more annoyed at you called the throttle a gearbox. "We're coming up on Max Q! I don't know what that is!" That's okay, everyone I've ever watched a launch with have asked me the same question. It's the point of maximum aerodynamic pressure. As you go up there's less air to cause trouble, but you're going faster which causes more potential for trouble. Max Q is the point were these two forces conspire to be at their worst; the most dangerous part of the launch. If you can make through Max Q it's probably not going to explode, because it survived the roughest bit. Edit: Oh! Space Toilets. They work like a vacuum cleaner. It's about as unpleasant as you think.

It took you along time for a rocket scientist if you're sorry only at 22:00. Jon doesn't make it much worse and at least doesn't expect to be taken seriously. The makers of the game take a few space assets at random, say a lot of space words at random and assemble it into a nice minigame collection.

@@5Andysalive By the time you're standing next to a launching rocket in the prologue because the drama of dad leaving is more important to the story than what the exhaust would do to anyone nearby you know what kind of experience you're getting into.

@@gnaskar or you see 3 massive engines on that Shuttle but no fueltank anywhere, while you repair "fuel cells". But it would have taken not much in depth advise to iron out at least the biggest nonsense. Nobody ecpects realism but a little less cringe would go a long way.

The fact that the dad is voiced by the same guy who voices Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3 is ... special. :3 Next Episode please! :D Edit: About the bathroom question - NASA does have some interesting videos; also about that problem. They use suction based systems so nothing gets out. Pretty interesting videos, filmed on the ISS, all here on YT. Can recommend, even if you're not a space 'nerd', they're very entertaining. :D

22:00 honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the guys just call this a gangplank in casual conversation. Officially it's called *Crew Access Arm* or *Crew Bridge* and the whole assembly can be called a gantry. Considering we use the term 'ship' for space-faring vessels, they might actually say gangplank. Would love to ask an astronaut :D

More likely gangway than gangplank. Gangplank was mostly used when it was literally a plank of wood that allowed you to walk between dock and boat. Gangway is the more modern term that means anything used to board a boat from the pier
