hi, fellow photographer here. we recently switched to pixieset and just noticed the upload picture file size is reduced by about 75%. do you see that happening? this is not good for my clients to download digital as they will not get the same quality as actual.

So I actually switched to PicTime due to the marketing print sales. I plan on making a video on that soon. Part of the reason I switched was because of what you are referencing too

ON the lens cup, I'm sure China makes one, they do not care about copyright or ownership laws. Very nice video you obviously know your stuff, I just signed up with Pixieset so in the learning phase ( always ). I don't know why but some you tubers speak so fast, so much so that its nearly impossible to take it in which is why you are making the video in the first place? I will save it and break it up to study. Not to take anything away from a very informative video, the music was annoying and distracting, in other words it wasn't "background music", volume too high but thats just me.. Thanks so much , you are an expert on pixieset !!

This might be a stupid question but can the client make copies from this site ?

No such thing as stupid questions! Copies like print their own photos? If you give them access to high resolution downloads than yes they could simply download the images and take them wherever they would like to print them.

What you can do is place watermarks over the photos and not allow access until payment so that they can't just download all the photos without paying

Personally I cull and edit them in a complete gallery but I know alot of photographers that do proofing!
