Your videos always feel like a chat with a friend 💛 I grew up in the generation that watched Bridget Jones and Love Actually. There was a lot of toxicity in the 90s on Women's body size. Perfectly healthy women oddly thinking they were overweight... Hope you achieve your goal, for the right reasons.

You leave such kind and thought provoking comments. I agree, the films you mention have had awful comments about women's bodies. I just feel lumpy and bumpy and that I really need to lose some of that if I can. The truth is I'm a greedy girl and all I need to do is be less greedy! 😉

ooh!! I've got a couple of videos to catch up on - a perfect accompaniment my Sunday morning cup of tea! I love that blue pattern Spode - so lovely. I especially love your no-mow garden...*sigh*...I wish we had something like that over here. I might be tempted to do it on my own next year -- that'll really send our neighbours 'round the bend! They already must be in anguish over my 'wild edges' and abundant dandelion crop :D. xo

our very existence seems to rattle our neighbours, and as they are scissor happy and forever chopping away at their plants (and ours because they are vile like that), I'm sure our unkempt lawn is irritating them more and more each day. I hope so anyway! I do love spode. Not sure why my love of it has been reignited as much as it has, but I'm very happy about it! x

I understand where your coming from on the menopausal weight gain. I was there a year ago. I have managed to lose over 2 stone and feel like a new stronger me. I did have to change the way I ate and exercised though. No more high intensity cardio and more focus on weights and walking. It is definitely doable and it's not as difficult as you might think. Just needed to be consistent. Good luck on your journey.

Thank you annl4329, you are inspirational. Well done on the more than 2 stone weight loss, that's impressive and not easy. You are right, it's a change of attitude. My issue is I'm very much 'ooh time for breakfast/lunch/dinner', when what I need to be saying is 'am I actuallly hungry' and take it from there. Not easy to change habits I know, but it has to be done. x

Totally agree Parveen, I think Henry must always open the vlogs, he's the star of the show. A levels are over, now we wait for results and then ... university! Hope she's done enough to get in. Yes, I was surprised at the Spode prices, nowhere near as much as I expected, which is good news as I plan on buying more! Hope all is well with you xx
