I don’t quite understand all of the scoring for this kind of barrel racing, but I can see that Dibs is really fast. That saddle is beautiful, assuming that you chose the same pattern or something close to it. Congratulations!

Thank you for turning us onto Sunny. We really were surprised by how well she rode when I first got on her. This is our third J-heart horse horse and we are really happy with them all. Although Henson started all of our J Heart horses, Sunny has had the most training done and she is really nice. You deserve some credit as well, I know you hauled her a little and rode her on the ranch. We will keep you posted and maybe someday we will make it back up the hill and come ride with you guys.. When its not so cold 😋

Hey, I’m a girl and was a lineman. I had pole climbing lessons.its totally science how the hooks act like a fulcrum. We also had basic electricity and I can’t remember what else. I was with a small group of girls that were sought out by ATT to become outdoor workers which had all been men. It was the best job I ever had back in the ‘70s. Sweet youth! I loved Sunny the moment I saw her! So sad when she found a new home. She may be the one you wished you would have kept!! One of Czar's very first babies! Now, the races! You two have really got it down to a science! She's a real go getter! FAST! Oh cool! You won a saddle! Hensen, stay off it! Get your own, lol! Danielle, do you ever run into Fallen Taylor? I watch her channel also. She's really worked hard this year, hauled her butt off! Just love your channel, the ranch is so huge and patrolled on horseback, not a 4 X 4! Hensen does a great job starting the colts and doing his leather work! When I was 16 I got a pair of rough out chaps for Christmas, really felt good riding all winter here in Michigan!! Thanks for sharing your life with us, I was never fortunate enough to leave this frozen mosquito infested mud hole called Michigan, blahhh!

Yeah go Danielle and Dibbs! Love seeing you ride barrels, you are so quiet a rider and the horsemanship you have learned from your ol man really reflects in your performances on her. I know Henson started Dibbs also. I would love to see more barrel riders really learn how to ride and train their horses so its actually fun and not damaging for the horse. So cute Dibbs perked ears in your photo. On another note, REALLY hope you can get Sonny back :,,,( what a good mare! I wonder why her coat is so long, hopefully she isn't having metabolic issues? I think the trust starts at home. Make sure you have a good relationship with your horse through the foundation, then they will trust you anywhere. Remember some horses are more reactive than others and that’s ok- horses take time
