Malli, Great video! But you do need to correct your statement about international driving license. You are correct, Srilankans can use their SL driving license (Photo card) for one year (from the date you first land in the UK) without any issues from the Police. (But there is a insurance issue)! When you purchase your car insurance, you do (and must) mentioned that you have an international driving license. This is means if you had an accident and unable to produce or proof your SL license (ie photo card) is infact converted to international driving license (ie paper part), the insurance company can invalidate your policy and not pay you anything. At that point driver is liable for all payment (and can go to jail if found guilty) including any third party involved. Not trying to scare anyone, but it’s not hard to have your SL driving license to be converted to International, and be legal on the road.
