I have a blue 1979 TS185 that looks almost exactly like that. I think that one looks like the 1980 model. It even sounds the same. I've had a few bikes through the years, but never got rid of this one. Great dependable bike! Easy to start, never fouls a plug and runs all day on a tank of gas. I still ride it. It has over 10,000 trail miles on it! I guess parts will be easier to get now, if I need them. This video made me smile like that old man that bought it! Get one if you can, you won't regret it. I wonder if Suzuki will ship them over to the US?

I had a Suzuki dr650 and gs500f and thought they were really good bikes for the money. Interesting they still make 2 stroke street legal bikes. I guess that is why we don't see this model in the states. Looks like it is nimble and light something that makes a nice city bike.

Great bike 👍, a happy and nervous day getting a new bike and riding home the first time! I have a DR200, it's about 20kg heavier than the TS185, and you really feel the extra weight. So does the TS185 now have 12v electrics?
