is he unboxing the one with the Cherry MX mechanical keyboard with individual RGB lighting per key in this video..??

@@rishilmangukiya He is. I actually just bought this for Black Friday, for $1079 from Dell (with i9-13900HX and GTX 4070). Waiting still for it to arrive and excited to give it a spin.

@rishilmangukiya yeah this one has the cherry keyboard. The standard keyboard only has 1 zone rgb lighting, not per key

@@sumyonguy Yo man I got the same specs! did you have any overheating issues with the i9? I heard it is much more power intensive than the i7 and overheats regularly so I'm wondering if it's THAT bad or just an irregularity.

Can the RAM be upgraded?
@881118543 күн бұрын
Absolutely. I have mine i9, 4060, 32GB RAM, and am considering upgrading the RAM to 64GB and adding a 2ns SSD.

So I've had the i9 RTX4070 for almost 6 months now and let me tell you. The G-key (f9) is your best friend when gaming. You need those fans running at 100% otherwise those temperatures will send you straight to hell with how hot things get.
@Ness3158 күн бұрын
How do you toggle the fans and manage cpu temperature with the i9/4070? I got one of those on the way 😢
@Iyswift6 күн бұрын
You should be able to press the G key to put the fans at 100% for max cooling. Or you can use the alienware command center app to set profiles to "quiet" or "performance" or things like that too.

He doesn’t have the i9 version. I think the i9 version uses Liquid Metal to cool it.
@JOutterbridge11 күн бұрын
Fantastic review overall. Sadly The I9 has worse cooling. It overheats and then thermal throttles. The glitches are about 1 sec max but happen constantly once the laptop is fully warmed up. I'll have to test it on a warm day to see if it's really bad. Right now it's winter and the house pretty cold. Not ideal test conditions but I'm a month during a warm day it'll be tested again on a warmer surface

@ I think maybe it’s is due to the gyroscopic that can be disabled

Dell pad is great. Make sure you get a warranty though bc they normally wear out in 3 years. Most people use wireless mouse with these dell laptops. They are heavy and not bet portable. 6.5lbs Plus a 2lb charger
