The one main concern of this laptop is the damn hinge. Rest are all good.

Here's the advice which is very important to prevent hinge accident. When opening and/or closing the laptop, I use 2 index/thumb fingers from both hands, one is opening or closing the laptop exactly right in the middle edge only (never use left or right corners more importantly) and one is holding the laptop exactly right in the middle edge as well.

So far it's all good. Recently changed the graphics driver from gaming to studio and works well. Complaints about the hinge breaking is more about the typical buyer and how it will be looked after

ive had this laptop for 3 or so years. I paid $1500 for it and it was absolutely not worth it. out of the factory, it came with audio popping problems that are generic for it as a whole. windows 10 scans and updates regularly use 100% of its disk / processing power, leaving games, performance slow, laggy, choppy I manually changed many options on laptop to make it run games easier, and I STILL run even low graphic intensity games (dota 2) on absolute minimum settings, and also experience laptop overheating while doing that, as well as outright crashes, freezes, during gameplay because the game is too much for the laptop to handle even without chrome, or any background processes open. recently, the audio popping problem has now evolved into screaming sounds to which I havent found the cause or fix. the first time I heard it, I actually ran away from the pc expecting it to explode. In the 3 or 4 years of owning this laptop, I have been satisfied with my purchase maybe 2-6 months, and the rest have been laden with problems that you or I don't have time for in our lives of 2021

Hi, I'm looking for a laptop for my partner. I honestly know nothing about what's good and what's not. She'll need it for spread sheets generally multiple spread sheets at a time. Lots of coarse work. Would this be a good choice? It wouldn't be used for gaming, but want something that's not to expensive and can handle multiple spread sheets with ease. Thank you

I'd not buy this model then, go for Dell XPS if you want good workbench performance, this laptop can do spreadsheets yes, but this laptop can do a LOT MORE than spreadsheets and thus for the price this is an overkill, go for Dell XPS or any business focused laptop.

Mine has 2 x M.2 with the larger battery 72kWh, if you see the smaller battery approx 55kWh fitted then it will have 1 x M.2 and 1 x 2.5"

Have had this laptop for a year and a half and it had a memory card issue, hard drive issue and windows 10 issue causing me to have to replace all 3 of these things, terrible laptop and I would not buy anything from dell again with terrible customer service.

Mine g3 15 3500 is to warm. I played gta5 an my CPU was 86°C and it shut Down I don't know why?! On 2.60 GHz so it turn off the Turbo Mode

I've got to say, I ve had mine for about a year or so and I'm not very impressed with it. It struggles playing the latest games. I can only play with JUST the game running and nothing else. I mean NOTHING. Otherwise it lags pretty severely. Can't play COD Warzone at all. MAJOR lagging on it. I know its not my internet because I play on my PS4 all the time. Recently gordered an Alienware because I feel pretty restricted with this machine. Its ok for single player games but like I said, if any other programs are running at all it has major performance issues. I'm new at PC gaming so I'm sure there are some thing I can do to boost performance so I'm trying to figure those things out as I go.
