The glue is a bad idea in that the next time the power switch is replaced, it will be hard to take the old one out without breaking things. Also, it is good idea to test before putting the screws back.

Hi, I have this laptop and it has two broken USB ports. Do you know if they're easily replaceable? It was hard for me to tell if the ports are directly soldered onto the motherboard of if they plug into the MB. Thanks!
