It's so much work to do something that could have been much simpler if Dell was smarter about their laptops...

Hello, I still have a notebook of this same model: Dell Inspiron 1525, which has this sudden shutdown problem. I've done the internal cleaning on all the necessary components and I could not solve his problem. I changed the POWER SUPPLY, changed the BATTERY, changed the RAM memory, changed the 500GB HDD by a 120GB SSD, changed the PROCESSOR and DISPENSER, even changed the DVD DRIVER. Unhappily it continues to shut down suddenly and leaving me in the hand, though now less often, but disturbing and inelegant. Just have not changed yet: The wi-fi CHIP, the motherboard and the monitor screen. Could the problem be in one of these still unchanged pieces? If available, you could give me a light on this doubt I have. I'm already happy with it. Hugs.

Emei do Jd. Arpoador I still own this also. Mine was turning off when I closed the lid. I removed the magnet in the lid. And set it to sleep after 10 mins instead of when lid shuts

The music makes it sound like such a fun process. The reality is I want to fucking punch a baby in the face after having to disassembly this shit.

that CPU seems a little thin on paste.... Some of you should clean the cpu and heatsink, and re-apply fresh thermal paste. That would help with the heat on the AMD Turion 64 processor that came with the system (THESE CHIPS RUN HOT).

how idiot can you be to put the fan there you have to disassembly whole laptop.Btw this laptop is strong from the side i have it 5 years almost but i hate when it overheats
@brickman4099 жыл бұрын
MrVierinha1 Yeah, it's a pretty dumb design. Everything else on this laptop is so easy to get to, but that fan is a major pain to replace. Makes me wonder what they were thinking when they designed it.
@brickman4099 жыл бұрын
***** But that's why it should be easy to get to. If it breaks and it needs to be replaced, why would they make replacing it so difficult? Making it harder to get to doesn't protect it in any way, it just makes it a pain it the ass when it breaks down.

somebody knows how to pimp up my dell 1525? is it possible to add more RAM and more graphics and still cool it with this little fan?
@brickman4099 жыл бұрын
NobelMicha The max ram you can put in is 4GB I think. I upgraded mine from 1GB to 2GB, I also put it a new wifi card and an SSD which helped speed it up alot. You can't really upgrade the graphics on it though, since it just uses the integrated CPU graphics.
