So far I just watched the video and haven't actually done the install, but it looks very easy the way you show it. Thanks for the informational step by step. I feel confident that I will be able to change the drive with no trouble.

Strange, my optical doesn't come out like yours. Instead of the whole drive popping out, I can only get the tray to slide out, as if I was going to insert a CD in it...help!? Pulling gently on the tray itself doesn't help either 🤔

@@ItsBinhRepaired Thanks, I've since figured it out. Just in case this can be useful to someone in a similar situation...the drive had slightly shifted position by a few millimeters which impeded its removal. I simply used a small screwdriver in the opening to gently pry it out

Excellent video, sir. Can tell it's not your first rodeo. What do you like for cloning? For SSD I've been using a USB to SSD with Paragon 'Copy Hard Disk'. Curious if you use a device where you drop the two drives in their slots or if you use a particular software. Also, for cleaning fans, do you use canned air blast or do you vaccuum? Any other particulars you want to share, please do. I really enjoy learning from what other experienced Techs like/don't like. How do I donate?...never mind, duh, see the Venmo to donate.

I use Miray HDClone, but it's expensive and doesn't make sense for a single use type thing. For consumers, there's a free version of Macrium Reflect. I don't use those devices with 2 slots because it's only useful for exact copies to same size drives. For dusting, I use this amzn.to/4eiiMfi Much better than the cans that cause condensation if you use it for too long and it gets too cold. I also use the Giottos brand of this amzn.to/3YURjvH though this one looks cheaper and pretty much the same.
