New sub here! How you desoldered it with just the solder iron heat on all pins? Interesting technique!! Keep it up!
@sharfazhameed63823 жыл бұрын
Mostly the smallest heat spot is the component in question.

Thank you. Looking forward to the follow up video. Looks like that part is not so common though. :(

I ordered a batch from china and waiting for part to arrive. This chip appears to be common on TV's. Doing more research, it appears to be an ESD protection chip. It plays an important role so that when ESD strikes, it diverts current to ground to protect the circuit.

Instead of removing components, couldn’t you measure resistance values with higher resolution to figure out which component is closest to 0 ohms?

His very knowledgeable but I don't think the area where he works is clean or enough care is taken to ensure no damage or scratching happens while handling some of these goods ...
@linksrepair28515 жыл бұрын
@VA,if you have seen his other videos then you will not complained about space,he has two work benches,one for microsoldring and one for assembling the finished job,i hope you`re hear to learn why not take the knowledge he is offering for free and leave the rest,his workshop is organized.
@NorthridgeFix5 жыл бұрын
We use Commercial Grade rubber ESD mats hence the blue color of the benches. Scratches will not happen.
