Dell Inspiron 7700 AIO - the new iMac killer.

Bought this to replace my Surface Studio (v1) which had died. Picked it up at Costco for $999. Replaced the mechaincal drive with a 2TB SSD, upgraded the ram to 64K and added a second LG 4K monitor. . I use his machine everyday for some pretty heavy duty work. Has performed flwlessly for about 1/4 the price of the Studio.

Thanks to this video I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 24 5400 AIO from 8GB of single channel ram to 32GB (16GB Dual Channel). Many thanks for giving me the confidence to attempt the upgrade.

Hello, I bought the Dell Inspiron 7700 AIO about 3 years ago, It's a great computer but I would like to upgrade the memory of it to 16GB as it came with only 8GB memory. I see on Dell Uk's website that the 16GB upgrade is 2 x 8 GB or could I just buy one 8GB to add to the existing 8GB? Thanks in advance.

Hi. I have a Dell 27" 7790 AIO which I bought in April 2020. Now that the warranty period is up I'm looking to upgrade the RAM because it only has 8GB when I got it new. Is the 7700 the same as the 7790 internally when you take off the back cover? I want to max it out at 32GB and just wondered if I can do it myself rather than spend extra money having it done professionally. It looks pretty straight forward but do I have to follow a certain correct procedure while changing RAM? Thanks for the video.

The layout internally should be the same so changing the RAM for 2 x 16GB should be straight forward. The only thing I can think of that may differ is the back panel, however if there are no release screws on the bottom of the screen unit then everything should be the same. Just be careful not to break any of the plastic clips on the panel. Good luck enjoy the uplift in RAM. :-)

Afraid not, the GPU is part of the mainboard with no PCI slot available for a GPU.

We normally install BitDefender, however in this instance our Client wanted to install their own so we removed McAfee for them.
