I purchased my old e6430 from work that was emptied. I first opened it up like in this video to see the ram, so I can later buy the exact same one. Then I inserted the win7 disc and started to install it. During the installation I could see flickering artifacts. I then installed all drivers, cause it didn't have any (chipset, both gpus etc...) gpus are intel hd 4000 and Nvidia nvs 5200m.Artifacts are still there. They occur sometimes when browsing the net, booting windows... I don't play games... Motherboard was really stuck when I removed it, could it be loose or could I have damaged it? Could dust be the problem?
@mattiripattila80449 жыл бұрын
+LoveMTB I disabled Nvidia, no change. Enabled it and disabled intel HD 4000, no change. What should I try next? New ram? All drivers should be up to date. I updated to win10, and the problem remains.

One major thin you did wrong in this video is never handel the ram chip in this fashion you always want to hold in by the edges so your fingers dont touch and chips,solder points,or pins. It only takes 1 volt of static discharge to damage a ram chip. 1 volt is so little you cant feel it or see it happen
