Is the Intel Cetrino WIFI card better than the original equipment card?

In this case the original one here was also an Intel Card, but the new one uses a 3x3 antenna array to get a better signal.

my WiFi connections aren't working so I ran the diagnostic an it reads " Wireless Hardware is not bound to transport driver " What do you think ? For the Intel Network Connection it reads, "This device cannot start (Code 10) "

I must use the USB tethering feature for my e6510 'cuz my WiFi is down I get these messages: "wireless Hardware is not bound to transport driver" "this device cannot start" "error code 10" "The Intel 82577 gigabit network connection adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems" Do I need a new WiFi card, as this video suggests ???

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for both the wired and wireless internet first.

i had same type laptop as yours, at the start up there's red X in wifi logo and pop up massage said " no physical wifi driver installed ", i turn off my laptop and pulled out the wifi card and cleaned the connector (i thought maybe oxidation at connector is the problem), then i put it back in, turn it on, it just work fine, but when i restart the system the red X and same pop up massage showed again, till now the same masaage still pooping out i considering to buy new wifi card but im afraid that's not the problem any solution for my problem??, great thanks for your response thanks .. .

I would try replacing the card first, you can get them for pretty cheap on eBay. Let me know if that works. Good luck.
