If you hadn't found the broken trace/if you had continuity from the switch connector to the chip, would that mean the board/chip needs to be replaced? I have exactly everything going on here on my shop desktop. I don't have 3.3 to the power button, but I do have continuity to the chip.

The 3v3 voltage does not come out of the chip itself but instead from a pull-up resistor to 3v3. If you don't have 3v3 at the Power button and you have continuity to the chip, then you most likely have a problem with the 3v3 or the pull-up resistor. Check for liquid damage next to EC chip

The voltage in the pin of the front panel is going to the IO or is coming from the IO

This voltage is actually a ldo voltage in which the super IO is pulled up to. The same line that goes to the super IO goes to the power button which is used to pull down the voltage to GND. If the Super IO is shorted you will not see that voltage at the power button as the super IO consumes and converts that voltage into heat

Hi friend Try and replace the RAM module at first i it still then you might have a problem with the bios or in worst case scenario you may have a faulty CPU Don't forget to check VCCSA also..
