Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you and your family have always been doing lots of great things in memory of your father. I have never seen a Dell OptiPlex computer with a traditional beige design. It looks very interesting. The lines on the top kind of represent the sun in a way, don't they?

I'm sad to hear about your father. My hearts and prayers and condolences go out to you and your family. I recently lost my aunt earlier this past July and my aunt always loved playing computer games with me when I was young.

We had those in middle school. I was the nerdy kid who sat at the middle school library and played ono the internet instead of doing stuff with other kids. I loved the round look of the front of these machines. It’s where I first learned of sharing midi music.

OMG I used an Optiplex GX100 from about 2001 to 2008 as my daily driver PC! I slapped a better video card in it and it ran Windows XP with no problems!!!

Your keyboard makes nice ASMR, very nice sound. The PC is interesting too. It appears Dell has a long history of using proprietary parts. I thought it was just recently.

Did you get the drivers from to Dell website? I found a soundblaster live in my grandparents attic and I’ll be putting it in my GX 110.

667 mhz. Intel changed it for obvious reasons. I remember having a GX-1 Pent 2. The larger desktop like this. Only taller. They were popular when XP came out. Dell XP restore CD would detect the system being a Dell and install activated.
