Thanks for the comment. The Server in the vid was a £21000 Server (RRP on Dell) and we had it on offer at £10997. I tried that before on a HP server, and guess what, the vmware ESXi files on SD got corrupted and I have to intalled again and had a downtime.. it will make sense if the SD are mirrowed like the hard drives

can i use 4 or 6 tb of hard drives? and controll them via SAS?

Yes, you can use either 4TB or 6TB SAS or SATA drives, install them in a Hot Plug caddy, slot them in and they will be connected through the backplane to the RAID controller.
