Thank you for this video. The part I needed help with was separating the laptop case after removing screws. A small butter knife did the trick for me. New battery is installed and working.

Can you initiate a hard reset without unplugging the battery? I have audio low volume issues and the recommendation was to unplug remove the battery and press the power for20 - 30 secs to completely discharge the system.

Only thing that increases perfomance you can do is ssd and ram...and Im guessing you did that

faulty battery in this xps 15 makes it unusable without a power cord, but the laptop itself should still function when plugged in? Or laptop will not work?
