I work at Showcase Cinema DeLux 18. This is a trip, and I thought the ones we have now get stuck in your head too easy! Lol

Nice to know that you used to work there as one of your old jobs. I used to work at AMC Yorktown in Lombard, IL for luckily over 3 years from 2018 to 2022. Right now, I'm under progress about making the cut at Mariano's @ Aurora, so wish me luck.

4:00 is my favorite policy trailer of all time, and it’s way better than the first version. The second version is the best. It makes me want to see a movie. I saw it right before “Meet Joe Black”, “Independence Day”, “Crossroads”, “Blade”, “Blade 2”, “Resident Evil”, and tons more when I was in Yonkers, NY at the Multiplex Cinemas. I missed being there. RIP: Sumner Redstone (1923-2020) 😢 PS: Sad to hear that Sumner Redstone, the founder of National Amusements and the president and CEO of Viacom and ViacomCBS has passed away at 97.

I used to go to these theaters when I was a kid and these logos bring back great memories of going to the movie theater.

I remember being terrified of 4:00 as little kid. In fact, I used to have a fear of going to the movie theater all together. Something about the atmosphere, walking through a dimly lit hallway full of vague, minimal movie posters, then entering a large room with an enormous screen displaying a slideshow of still, lifeless advertisements with oldies music playing faintly in background, right before everything goes dark and you're suddenly bombarded with this cgi neon lights show accompanied by high energy music loud enough to shake the theater, before you're forced to sit through trailers, which may include horror and thriller films. It was all just very intimidating and off-putting for little me. Nowadays, I kind of miss this stuff. The music gets me pumped (like Madonna's "Ray of Light"), and the neon lights take me back. But it's just kind of cheesy and over top. If only theater intros these days were as exciting, though. EDIT: OK, now I'd honestly do anything to get those neon lights and techno music back

These bring back memories. Atco Multiplex was my place and it had these reels.

There is one short lived "intro" missing and it had a malfunctioning projector with the entire audience exiting for refreshments and then returning.

The second music in the 3rd logo reminds me of Madonna's Ray of Light... *AND I FEEEEEL...LIKE I JUST GOT HOME!*

Of course they wanted you to exit out the "back" because the lobby was usually filled with patrons waiting for the next show. Never mind the fact that over half of the exiting patrons had to use the restrooms.

There is one that has Lincoln (The Loud House) Lincoln: Hi and welcome to National Amusements theaters. I’ll explain some rules of enjoying your movie experience. It’s literally rude to talk or text in the auditorium. Lori: [talking to Bobby on her phone] Hi, Bobby. [Lincoln appears while asking her to silence her cell phone] I have to call you back. Lincoln: Phew. [sees Lily who is crying] Uh, Rita, Lily needs to have her diaper changed. Rita: Good thinking, Lincoln. I’ll have to use the restroom to change Lily’s diaper. Lincoln: Not quite. [sees a character who is literally smoking a cigarette] Cough! Cough! [puts on a gas mask] I don’t allow smoking in the auditorium. Neither does vaping. You have to smoke or vape in the lobby. Lana: This soft drink is delicious. [she throws it on the floor but Lincoln catches it and summons Lynn to slam dunk the empty container in the trash like a basketball] Lynn: Whoo-hoo! 2 points. Lola: Should I rent this theater for my pageant party, Lincoln? Lincoln: Sure you could, princess. Ask an employee for details. Oh, and ask about the National Amusements gift certificate. It’s currently available in the lobby. Enjoy the show.
