I grew up with those. In fact, I remember it specifically when we saw Empire Strikes Back when it first release. In my town General Cinema were everywhere.

Never got to see the final variation from 2001. My local General Cinema closed in the late 1990's (possibly 1998). I still wonder who composed the 1964 Feature Presentation harpsichord riff. It was my favorite.

I liked seeing this because it takes me back towards my childhood and during my teens. There was one close to my home in Gurnee, Illinois at this one mall that was in Waukegan. I remembered what it was liked before being remodeled and after. I do missed in going to that theater. The last time it was in the mid 90’s.
