Hi, thank you for your great and informative videos. I have a Prima Donna Deluxe S ECAM 28.465.M that constantly says INSERT INFUSER ASSEMBLY. I have replaced the transmission assembly, and this has not resolved the issue. The levers at the bottom of the infuser remain spread in the service position, which prevents the infuser from being removed. The levers need to be manually pushed closed to enable removal of the infuser. I have followed Delonghi’s KZbin video on how to reset, but this does not resolve the problem. Any advice on what the issue is and a possible solution would be gratefully received. Thanks. Keep up the great work.

@@yt.myworks Thanks for your help with this. I preformed an encoder reset. It now recognises that the infuser is inserted and the levers are in the correct position for the removal of the infuser. Keep up the great channel.

Wenn die Spindel zu selten oder gar nicht geschmiert wird führt das auf Dauer vermutlich auch zu mehr Verschleiß bei den oberen Axiallagern.

Das Spiel der Spindel sollte sich doch oben mit passenden Beilagscheiben beseitigen lassen, oder? Ich habe ja schon mehrere Messingmuttern getauscht, das Problem hatte ich noch nie. Mir ist aber durchaus klar, das zuviel Spiel dieses Problem, gerade bei den ecams verursachen kann, denn bei diesen wird ja der obere Endschalter vom Auswurfhebel der Brühgruppe betätigt.

Genau so ist es, eine neue Spindelmutter und Verschraubung oben lösen meistens das Problem. Der Tausch der Spindelmutter ist allerdings recht kompliziert (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fouboISLfNmDoMUsi=4ISf_vnzkebZucJl) deswegen wollte ich zeigen wie man das ganze Getriebe tauschen kann. Kostet zwar mehr Geld, der Fehler ist aber schnell beseitigt.

That's not necessarily crucial. It is important to lubricate the spindle of the drive regularly, at least once a year. Then it can also hold 100,000 salaries. The brewing group should also be cleaned and lubricated regularly. If this is difficult to move, the drive is subjected to much greater strain.

Hello, the Hall sensor breaks very, very rarely. I've repaired a lot of Delonghi coffee machines and haven't had a broken Hall sensor yet. That's why I recommend checking all other components. Can you describe the error in more detail? More information would be very helpful to be able to give you a hint.

@@yt.myworks I think hall sensor isnt problem, all start working and I wanted to clean the brewing block along with disassembling it and of course I put it back together incorrectly. The lever was broken, but not from the block, but from the inside of the machine. I don't even see that such an item can be ordered

Hello, yes, but the reed board only breaks in the rarest of cases. On the contrary, most of the time the error message appears because it detects the tolerances in the transmission.

After removing water tank and inserting back hundreds times, finally can get my coffe... Do you think is transmission fail or can be something else ? Thanks for answer 👍

Hi, you can still try to clean everything inside with the vacuum cleaner and brush, especially in the upper area. After that, grease the spindle, maybe it will help. If not, then the transmission needs to be repaired or replaced.

Thank you for this gr eat channel. A question you may help with my ECAM22.110 : my brew group is stuck at the top position inside the piston infuser. Not possible to lower this brew group even in test mode, even manually by turning the plastic wheels of the transmission kit. Therefore I can't remove the infuser from the top of the machine (like in your other video kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4Gol2tuZtB5d9Em14s ) it does not move at all, neither remove the transmission kit because the screws (in the inside as shown at 2:36 ) are not visible...any idea how to procede ? Thanks
