This shorts video features the "Evil Karma" ending scene from the Infamous Second Son (2014) game. The ending depends on your karma level where you could get a "Good Karma" ending if you played as the "good guy" throughout the game. Infamous Second Son (stylized as inFAMOUS Second Son) is a 2014 action-adventure video game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation 4. It is the third installment in the Infamous series. The game was released worldwide on March 21, 2014. The player-controlled protagonist possesses superpower abilities that players use in combat and when traveling across the city. The story follows protagonist Delsin Rowe fighting the Department of Unified Protection (D.U.P.) in a fictionalized Seattle. Over the course of the game, Delsin acquires new powers and becomes either good or evil as player choices influence his morality.
Infamous Second Son is an action-adventure game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective. Players control the main character Delsin Rowe, who can parkour-style climb vertical surfaces like high-rise buildings. Delsin is a Conduit, which allows him to use superpower abilities by manipulating materials such as smoke, neon, video, and concrete. These materials can be weaponized (such that Delsin can perform melee attacks or fire projectiles from his fingertips) or used to deftly navigate the game world (such as using neon to dash up buildings). Delsin earns new powers as he progresses through the story, which sees him fight against the Department of Unified Protection (D.U.P.) during missions. Each time Delsin gains a new power set he must destroy D.U.P. Core Relays to learn the basic abilities that correspond to it. Delsin upgrades and acquires new abilities by spending Blast Shards that have been collected, they are scattered throughout Seattle. Players become more powerful in combat by expanding Delsin's suite of abilities.

I don't know what it was, but when I first beat the game and saw him stand there and almost contemplate I knew he was going to do the orbital drop on the long house. And honestly it's one of the most haunting and dark "Bad endings" in videogame history. I wish I could forget this game and play it all over again

The build up is great in this ending with the soft melody in the backgrounds is great because you know as soon as he make a fist with his hands, the melody intensified and as he flies and his smoke almost reaches the house it stops, you don’t get a complete ending because you don’t deserve it because of the terrible things you have done. Now your alone no family no place to call home only you and your powers because that all really cared about right?

I'm 100% sure that some people would still accept help from Delsin, even if he is taken evil karma path. Also, he killed only "bad" people, like Augustine, etc. So what is bad about it? Like, in some games like Dishonored it is stated, that if you kill people more rats will come and plague spread faster, people will fear you, Emily would draw scary pictures. Even in the end it will be rainy, storm day. Boat guy will alert your enemies. But in Infamous, you'll just have a different powers and outfit. People will still scared to shit than you lend on earth. With things whose in mind, it's still good game. It has something damn good. Like characters. Reggie, Fetch, Delsin, even Augustine.

it's chilling all the differences between the good and evil routes: - the difference in pitch when you absorb core relays/shards (it's lower on the evil route) - the difference in smoke/hoodie color (red in evil) - the difference in his general appearance (darker around the eyes, sunken in almost, with red tinges) - a deeper, colder inflection as he speaks (really present here...he expects to be welcomed home, as this is all he has left, yet he's turned away. easily another blindside for him after hank) - his general aggressive demeanor in everything he does (leaning into his destructive side much more) - and likely more i missed off the top of my head it's a fantastic dichotomy in a fantastic game, and i always return to it every once in a while
