Early evening departure from JFK after a long day of rainy weather, aboard a brand new Delta 737-900ER-the newest one in operation at the time, in fact. The airport was busy as usual for the time of day, but the lineup of departing aircraft moved quickly enough that we sort of just rolled slowly down the taxiway towards the end of Runway 4L. Usually I'll only cut out parts where we weren't moving when editing my videos, but since I couldn't really do that this time, I just sped up that part of the video, especially because I wasn't facing the runway so I couldn't film any of the departing traffic. After taking off with lots of condensation effects, we quickly passed into the overcast cloud layer, and stayed in the clouds for a good little while as we continued our climbout, finally breaking through to blue skies around FL250 (25,000 ft).
