Miss that 727 real jet sound. Sometimes you would hear the 3 wind up at slightly different times or throttle back at different rates. Miss the thump as it left the runway. Real Flying. Miss those light empty flights from the 90's. Thanks for posting

JMMT7022801 I tried it one time om a Singapore 777 from Copenhangen to Singapore, no more than 40 people, had the whole row for myself, amd the attendants treated us like kings. This was back in 2004 tho. In the 90s I flew the Varig MD11 often from Copenhagen aswell, also had a few well empty flights, even got bumped to business class because of it a few times.

The camera work is great. You showed us what it was like to be in the cabin. You did not do what everyone else does, and stick the camera to the window for the entire flight. That shows us nothing but what is outside. You gave us the experience of flying in it which is the whole point of these kinda of videos, but everyone seems to miss that.

Oh yeah, here's one for the way back machine... Late 70's...Piedmont Air, 737-200 non stop service from Greensboro,NC to MEMTN, early AM flight with a pancake midflight breakfast. I was a little girl then, on an unadult chapperone flight to visit relatives. I was their smallest, cutest passenger, and got to see the cockpit and talk to the pilot and co pilot. Got a pair of plastic Piedmont Airlines wings to put on my sweater. Everyone was super nice. Those were the days.

Delta loved those 3 engine planes back then, most of them were 727s and L1011s. I remember even further back in the early 1980s, flying through Atlanta and we boarded onto a Delta 707. TWA had the 707s too, but they were gone by the mid 80s. I think it had something to do with their fuel efficiency and noise, the 707s were louder than the 727s, DC9s, and L1011s

In 2019, Delta or AA wouldn't think twice about cancelling a flight like this with this light of a load. Unless they needed the aircraft re positioned somewhere. I remember flying on 727s at AA. My mother worked for AA for 30 years and I flew allot as a child (non rev) in the 80s and 90s. It was common to see flights like this with light loads, and we could often get first class. Now, you are lucky to just get a seat as a non-rev and often don't. First class as non rev? Forget about it. Most people in First class today are using miles to upgrade anyway. This was a nice trip down memory lane. lol...And yes, every flight I have been on the past few years has been packed to the brim.

I flew first class to anchorage and could still here the windup of the engine I was that close to it. It was ridiculously loud and sounded huge, almost as loud as the jumbo jets. I think the jet engines are still here today, they just hid them from us. :) regardless of plane, I can still hear the sound of the pilot pushing the throttle at max speed and soaring into the air revealing that lovely jet sound we all love.

I love back in the day videos...I had loads around this sort of period...I even had one of me and Mikkey Dee from Motorhead saying a few words to my friends via my video camera on a flight from LA to Heathrow (Virgin Atlantic Mid Class before they called it Premium economy) which was diverted to Manchester, England because of frozen fog. I was sat beside him...didn't know who he was as back in the day I liked the Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and The Charlatans...I asked him what he was flying to the UK for and he replied.."Start of our world tour" I said that I didn't mean to be disrespectful but which band was he a member of...then he told me. I have a fantastic 14 or so hours with him before they let us off the plane and put us on a fleet of buses back to Heathrow.
