3:15 those extra flaps on the wings that extend there are so the plane can fly slower and still stay in the air. They are out for takeoff and landing, but retracted for the rest of the flight, including most of the ascent and descent. The parts that moved upward for a second are so the plane stops faster after landing on the runway. Notice how they were halfway up for most of the descent, that is most likely for speed/noise regulations in the area. The little one on the end of the wing is the aileron, which is used for banking and turning. This view is a good example of the wing parts at work.

I've always liked flying on the 767, the 200 and 300 variants because of the 2-3-2 cabin layout. It's too bad they're gradually being withdrawn from commercial air travel service and being used as freighters, or sent to their final destinations in the desert boneyards of California and Arizona to be used for parts. I'd like to travel on the 767-400 variant, which Delta and United Airlines operate the largest fleet of this classic airliner.

This route is usually flown by an a330. At least, it was the two times we flew it.

airjordanseattle23 Year round DL142 service from SEA to AMS is operated by A333. However, this video shows flight DL144, which is an additional summer rotation operated by B763.

@@DylanHK it depends on the market, the 767, is a middle of the market aircraft, and the 777 and a330 are just to much airplane, especially if the airlines has 2 daily departures on this route. 9.5 hours isn’t really that long, and it doesn’t make sense to put a large airplane on a route that doesn’t really need it.

I love the 767 but this video presents really bad information. As of time of this video posting, there is NOTHING new about this Delta 767 economy cabin. it's actually the OLD economy cabin and OLD economy service. Very outdated & misleading information.

No they are not. American is an absolute disappointment. United can very expensive at times, and delta just makes the travel experience much more enjoyable.
