You don’t need to extract through files. All you have to do is go online and download the games you want then hit the little plus icon inside the delta app and your games will be there. Just tap on or select all of them, then tap open and they will be right in the app

Been playing Delta on both my iPad Pro (M4) and iPad (10th generation). Looks and plays the same in both, meaning on the base LCD iPad it looks just as great as on the OLED one. PS5 controller integration is flawless. Turn it on, pair it with the iPad, and it's mapped automatically. Man, Jackal and Blaster Master on NES are as unforgiving as back in the 80s. Growing up made no difference. Thank God for save states. 😅

Jokes on you Casual Gamer. I got Delta on my iPad BEFORE you uploaded this set up video. And I’ve been loving it ever since. Still haven’t got all the capabilities of every console option, but what is there is pretty nice. Feels so good playing Wario Land 4 again XD

@@UrCasualGamer Actually no. I DID get it on the App Store once Apple (I believe on the week or two weeks after) they opened up legal access for emulation apps. Probably should’ve said that in my comment too, but no worries. Now that I have your attention, I have a question. I didn’t know they also give access to Genises games now. Back when I got the app, you just had access to NES-NDS (which, as of now you don’t need to find an extra bios for anymore with that system to my delight). Does Delta need to be updated to get genesis support?

This is why I always have loved Apple, because whatever they make, they make it so neat, simple, and the features are amazing. On android or PC, it’s nowhere near as simple and everything looks different. Like dolphin for example which is a very good emulator, but nowhere near as clean as the Delta OS on Apple.

You've got to be kidding. I do agree Apple makes very good hardware and software. But this has nothing to do with them. This comes from a third party developer.

@@areks4397 true, but for Apple to add something to their App Store, it had to meet a certain standard. If you notice, apps from android compared to Apple are totally smoother and different except for the crossover games/apps.

@@jafetmtz7032 so, we had it on pc, which was good enough until Apple had it. No way in the world am I going to switch to a galaxy/android for a Simulator. Android is basically a phone pc, with a weak OS and very vulnerable. So the years to wait, well worth it.

I have android also, like I mentioned above. They have had multiple simulators, they’re just not as safe. That’s why it’s neat to finally see apple have one and to know it’s not corrupted with malware.

I’m pretty sure for ds games you need to have three additional files which are bios7.bin bios9.bin and firmware.bin for them to work

I updated to version 1.6 and started having problems with my joysticks, I tried a PS4 one and also a generic one plugged in by cable, both worked perfectly in the previous version. The main problem is not being able to enter the MENU with the assigned button (I generally use R2). I know there are new shortcuts to fast forward and Hold, just in case I completely disabled that option and I still have the same problem. In any case, the jystick is not working well, it leaves buttons pressed (without the HOLD activated) and it is impossible to play. Searching the internet I saw several users with the same problem. so I'm looking forward to version 1.7 with the FIX.
