Delta Flight Diverts Plane After Serving Contaminated Food

Plane passengers heading to Amsterdam found themselves in an emergency as their plane diverted due to contaminated food. The Delta airplane had taken off from Detroit when it was forced to turn around and land at New York's JFK airport. The emergency is being blamed on an inflight meal service that Delta Airlines says was spoiled. It was reportedly contaminated with black mold. Inside Edition's Jim Moret has more.

Well if it was a night flight and people have been in the airport all day, it’s hard to really care. Additionally, the mucus in the nasal passage expands as the plane flies higher making it harder to smell until its too late.
