The new operator is not as broken as everyone thinks. Shield mounting is the ultimate skill of this operator. Shooting is not allowed during shield activation. Deploying and disabling shields both take a few seconds, and during this period, it will significantly slow down himself, making him impossible to quickly switch between shield mounting and gun shooting. Once the shield is turned off during the activation period, it will enter a very long CD. During the shield activation, the glass window in front of the head can be shattered by a gunshot, and once shattered, the player can deal damage by decapitation. The rope of the grappling hook can be damaged by shooting. Wire mesh can be destroyed by explosives, gunfire, and melee weapons hitting its core. Shield strikes will knock down enemies that have not been knocked down, but cannot cause damage. They can only deal damage to enemies that have already been knocked down, but it also requires several shield strikes to kill. And one shield strike will consume a lot of physical energy, usually using 3 to 4 shield strikes will consume a full grid of physical energy. The operator will move the shield away from the front when aiming with a grappling hook or receiving a flash. Most players in the test server are facing robot players, which is why the new operator looks very broken.

With how chaotic and open warfare is, I don't think so. But in more tight map with CQC focus such as in Operations/Extraction mode, it'll probably be OP there. Edit: the only warfare map I can think of that the shield might be OP is in that map with underground tunnel.

This looks epic. Can't wait to play this. Just one thing, I think the shield should be moved to the side when interacting with the Mandelbrick and other items to not make it over powered. The player needs to be more exposed . Also, does the shield break if it takes to much damage and needs to be picked up again at ammo supply crate?

yes it does. He can interact with the environment without taking it off, one hit knock down, 2 hit kill, grappling hook that not only pulls enemy to you but then knocks them down as well, and on top of that razor wire that slows and damages enemies. like that's a lot for one operator.

The problem with blitz and siege is random enemies appears one by one from everywhere. Its fully opposite of the 32 v 32 warfare which is also sucks because to defend or capture a territory, two teams play 32 v 32 on a 5-meter area. A 24 v 24 player mode will still be too much even without vehicles because character skills are too strong and spammable, they are not balanced. After all, there is no gamesense in the game for now. Broken spawns and character skill sets is the biggest problem of the game which they need to fix it asap.
