I’m not a fan of these hero shooter operators and their ridiculous abilities and voice lines but tbh the operators in Delta Force are not as cringe and ugly like in Battlefield or COD. They look totally fine to me and at least you can change most of the stuff what they say. It’s free to play and offers more than Battlefield so yes definitely a modern Battlefield Killer. I’m still more a fan of the real OG Battlefield Games. These modern hyper active 0.01ms to kill someone is more for the toddler audience than for adults. I just can’t listen to these cringe voice-lines all the time.

Nobody can kill battlefield as much as it has already done to itself. Nothing will compete with og battlefield but I think this game is a good contender to beat out the latest from battlefield. I usually hate “hero” abilities but these feel super balanced. The extraction shooter mode is a whole other can of worms. I think it’s a good bridge between tarkov and dmz. Their monetization feels very honest so far as well. I purchased the battlepass for some gun skins and to show support. It doesn’t feel like I got ripped off there. In short, this games very promising so far.

It's good man. Its not battlefield of course but it's the next best thing in my opinion. And it's free. Battlefield/dice has abandoned us😢 but this game feels good . The progression is back to its roots and customization is also back to its roots. 9/10

@ I would definitely give it an optimistic 8/10. It’s only been a couple days. Personally, I’m a call of duty player. I have abandoned battlefield what feels like 10 years ago. Having played the last 3 call of duty titles mostly playing ranked, this game couldn’t come at a better time for me. COD today, has terrible desync and hit registration and awful optimization. I upgraded my pc last week which was already quite adequate just for a mediocre boost in performance. Running cod at 1080p lowest possible settings I got 150fps and bad stutter. I launched this game without any settings changed and got 140fps on 1440p extreme settings. I short, I’m really happy about this game but I hope the support remains really high so the game continues to feel fun to play after the new feeling goes away.

Why does every new game have to be labeled as a 'killer' of another? Battlefield is battlefield has its own identity and a community that's grown over years. Delta Force might look cool, but it’s its own thing. There’s plenty of room for both games to exist without one needing to overshadow the other. Can’t we just enjoy Delta Force for what it brings to the table without trying to pit it against Battlefield? Let games thrive on their own merits!

BF5 was far from terrible! Mechanically to me is the best in the entire series actually they did so many things right in that game people just play follow the leader and bash because KZbinrs or someone online says something bad I loved it beginning to end

It will be like every other BF-like where spurned former BF fans insist it's gonna be the biggest thing ever and then it dies an uneventful death a month or two later (like Battlebit), but the extraction mode could survive if it's essentially Tarkov with more polish and better anticheat. It will have a similar lifecycle to XDefiant, another 'CoD / BF Killer' that didn't innovate and thought a F2P model was the only thing necessary to eat away at market share

Because it was a massive leap in technology at the time it was made . Not to mention it was heaps more gritty . The sounds effects were way better also . NO m17 in BF4 . Better map design also .

I always hear "The killer off..." and always dies immediately due accessibility and IP that is competing against has a bigger name. Remember WW3? The Battlefield killer? Gone forever What about XDefient? The Cod killer? Is dead now Heck, with the new BF saying "We are going back" is most likely to sell like hot bread despite all the bugs that it will have on launch. The launch is going horribly atm. Massive frame drops from 120+ to 30 for a few seconds. Servers are pretty bad especially depending on where you live. Weird Dsync issues. LOD's are dreadfully low quality, characters are weird and tbh no one wants to be a fucking idol running around with a gun, the UI and hundreds of battle pass progression shit that's going on it crazy, vehicles are too op and cant be taken out by one person, but despite that, it has good fundamentals and decent gameplay concepts I think will be great later down the line. RN its something I see many people forgetting about within a few weeks. The game is literally struggling to fill servers and matches, which I think they can put bots to fill back in. Not too many but enough to help. I was stuck at 63/64 players for 30 minutes till people started leaving.

awsome game but all weopon damages need to be buffed and there needs to be a mandatory player tutorial for all classes before playing them. 90% of players have no idea how to use the classes in this game as of right now. half the players on the map will walk right over downed players and never heal them.

This looks so shockingly similar to BF, that I feel if Nintendo can sue the developers of Pal World, EA should be able to sue these developers. I doubt EA would be smart enough to IP anything BF, considering they tried neutering it with the BF2042 launch mechanics, but still. I've been playing a lot of BF2042 with the friend group lately and there are indistinguishable animations and sounds in this game from BF. I'm not sure how exactly I feel about this game tbh. There is no innovation. It's a literal clone to the bone. Also where the hell are the anti smoke devices in all these games? These industrial buildings 100% have giant fans or crazy HVAC systems that should be able to be toggled to remove smoke. Or a portal hi powered fan. Something. Smoke in these games is outright cheap and annoying.
