It's about using the obsolescence of the already obsolete. In this case the creator is using stop motion film to create records when cd's and digital distribution are already more mainstream. I like it that both music and video are clearly seperated in two phases: one of destruction in the Video and aggressive dubstep in the music and the other one of art with new elements in the video and harmonic melody in the music. The drop is the passage between the two phases :)
