when we use overwriteSchema : True in delta format it does not give any error,

In case of update nd delete in data lake ,it took 33 seconds for you ,only for 4 columns . Will this be a good approach for a production use cases when there are terabytes of data used

Merge option is costlier operation as it is doing upserts and deletes. Also, the demo which i showed ran with small data and small configuration machine(databricks community edition), if we use a high end machine and huge volume of data, we can leverage the power of delta file format
