What I would have given to have been told by my big sisters that they loved me and were proud of me! My niece is a Delta, tho' no longer on Earth. At first, we thought it was a cult (LMAO😂 since the Universities we attended up 2 that point did not have frats & sororities) but in time my Family grew to understand not all frats & sororities R the same.. The Deltas R beautiful, smart & creative-thinking Sisters ❤️❤️❤️ The Sorority was intent on giving each member of their organization the gift of a PURPOSEFUL Life in the SERVICE of others. Exactly what so many Govt & Business Leaders could use in these uncertain times right now. The disease which slowly took her breath away, was unable to deter her from her beloved Deltas. My niece, Gloria Ortiz worked TIRELESSLY for them. As I said b4, she wanted to give back what they had given her : the gift of a purposeful life in the service of others. Deltas R instrumental in supporting school children nationwide in their communities by participating politically to get playgrounds built, after-school programs funded, school resources supporting STEM Programs, Music & Art Programs, etc. as well as being Leaders in Business, Education, Law, Medical, Engr. etc. if U can ..
