One of the best bands ever. The musical style and arrangement is complex and energetic. Play it loud and it's like a rush of sensory stimulation. No drugs required.
@devilsoffspring55194 жыл бұрын
They've been dismissed for many years (decades?) now as "one of those old '90s pop-punk bands", but the Offspring have truly fantastic music to their name. Massive groove and energy!

I have Depression and Anxiety and this is how I feel in my anxious moods when I'm agitated, insomniac, and trying to catch up on things that I lost in my depressed stage.

I'm right there with you, Julie. Life can suck at times, especially 2020. 90s music takes me back to my happiest moments!! I wish I could re-live dancing and singing at bars, rock concerts & house parties, not changing a thing. Plenty of other moments I would like to go back and change. Other moments I try to forget. I hope you find something that makes your life better.

QUOTE : ". . . and trying to catch up on th8ngs that I loat in my depressed stage". YOU NAILED IT SIS'! That's exactely the problem. Not the fact of having been sick, per se, bit all the regret for all that I lost and all that i haven't done. And i'm sure that it's never too late, but fact is, even tho i'm gonna do what I didn't, back in the day, i will regret forever what I haven't done between my 20s n 30s. It hurts so bad and i cannot sleep until late night. It hurts a lot. FUCK NWO!

I can tell I'm particularly anxious and miserable when this song is listened to, that being said you could do a lot worse for a relatable song that's unbelievably underrated, even amongst an underrated band's discography.

This is All Mine. Some Bitch took over the housing unit & hired some Moron ex-convict maintenance guy who likes to follow my woman & I around to piss us off, to get us in trouble with the law, or to try to get us to move. The Bastard got an unjustified 4 year restraining order against me, & false violations that recently got dismissed. He followed her into a bank, then showed up over here the next day about a live trapped skunk that had already been released. Then a week later he pops up on her near a soda machine. The Cops kiss the housing authorities ass way too tight.....This guy is getting notifications when we leave our place, & when we leave the nearby Walmart. The Cops will have none of it. Anything goes with that restraining order BS!!!!

This song is definitely about either drugs or mental illness, to me; I can kind of relate... (Having matured & developed more perspective on my difficulties, I can relate to this song 99%!!!!!!! I’ve had my experiences & demons to conquer, never give up!!!!! Often ones’ perspective is tainted & disconnected from reality- there will always be problems in life, but it’s easy to ignore that life can often be quite wondrous- I’m certainly not excluded from these things………….)

I lived like this in my early 20s. Meds, counseling & going back to college took it all away. I still get anxious at times, and I am always depressed. I don't let anyone know; I cover it pretty easy. Plus it makes a huge difference to interact with others. Loneliness is the greatest contributor to depression.
