Emotional, perfectly pitched, powerful highs, pensive solemn lows, had me captivated throughout…I had to buy the song from iTunes but this live rendition takes the cake! I’ll keep coming back to watch and listen to it time and time again. The didgeridoo and Opera House backdrop made for a simply stunning setup and I was so proud to be a Sydneysider. I remember she had trouble reaching the high note in believe during the bridge during and after her treatment. I’m so glad she has been able to regain the higher register especially in this song, even if it’s delivered slightly differently to the original (probably because of voice maturity as she still very young when originally recorded). The bridge really makes this song, I feel, it’s always been my favourite part.
