Snowgrave is worse than genocide because instead of killing everyone, you're forcing Noelle to, which gives her the guilt instead of you. AND the once innocent and shy girl now thinks killing people is a good thing, so you've corrupted her. Plus if anything goes wrong, you can just blame Noelle and get out without punishment, since you technically didn't do anything.

Lol becomes even worse when you realise even in-universe Kris isn't forcing her to do this, it's us. We're the bad guys. There's also the theory that this new, alternate universe that Deltarune happens in is the one Chara creates with Frisk's/ the player soul at the end of genocide after destroying the Undertale universe and that Kris is literally just Chara but older with us helping them move through the actual game like a puppet cause we have the power of the soul which we have but Chara doesn't, justifiying her apparent need of us at the end of the genocide route , explaining the scenes where Kris rips out the soul to do God knows what, which just makes it more messed up.

The song at 19:35 is called “berdly battle heartbeat true” in the game files, implying that’s his heartbeat. It stops when noelle freezes him, also implying his heart stops. So Berdley actually dies in this route.

Actually, he suffers a fate worse than death. Monsters turn to dust when they die, and in the light world, he isn't dust. So either he is just fallen down, or, because he died in the Dark World and was never revived, he is stuck in a permanent limbo; Neither alive nor dead.

This route was to me scarier than the genocide rout for Undertale, since in this one you manipulate another person, who was innocent and scarred them, while in Undertale you just kind of kill everyone, fight a skele-boy and get a cheap jump scare.

Wow, he actually did the snowgrave route. That was kind of unexpected Also, for clarification, Noelle's moveset (other than Ice Shock or Snowgrave) don't affect the route at all. Heal Prayer is the same as Ralsei's and Sleep Mist is Pacify but it affects all enemies. So basically, Ice Shock is the only move that changes the route, the others are just better versions of Ralsei's abilities.

Fun fact: Kris has absolutely nothing to do with all this. The one responsible for this is you (the player). For example, in the room with the first lighting barrier. Everything Noelle says about frying Kris is written in brackets meaning she was thinking about it and not speaking. Yet we somehow heard it and gave an answer that catches her off guard as to how we heard her say that in the first place. The other thing is that Noelle says she's childhood friends with Kris so she knows him quite well. So she starts questioning as to why Kris is acting so unusual, rude and scary. And the finally, Noelle comments that she hears a terrifying voice from Kris. A voice that doesn't sound like Kris at all. As if he suddenly got possessed by someone.

Dude I love YuB, he is always so funny and entertains me everyday. Every video I watch makes laugh so much. He always fits his little music/singing into his videos at every part he can, it gets annoying but at the same time it makes his videos so much more funnier and entertaining than it already is. NO SPOILERS TIPS :) So from here on out you’re locked into the route and you’ll proceed with the rest of it. It continues into the town if you want to see the differences in how things go after you’ve left the Dark World. And how the characters outside will react. The ending part with Kris and Susie and all that is still the same so there’s technically no new ending, just a new route. Try to think of what would change with Noelle during this route vs the last and then go and interact with that! Hope this helps :)

There is one significant difference between the Snowgrave route and the genocide route. The Genocide route is committed by the player character, in a place unfamiliar to them, with people who they "in theory" have never met. The guilt falls on your own character. The Snowgrave route is forced by the player on someone else, in their real life, their home, against people they interact with daily, and care for. The guilt falls on Noelle, (and possibly Kris if he is conscious while we are in control, but we don't know how he is handling this/ if he is phased at all by this)

Know how there was a DustTale AU for Undertale (basically, the human did 327 genocide runs, then sans wanted the killing to stop so he killed all the monsters before the human in order to save the timeline, the LV 1 human fighting a LV 20 Sans) Yeah, what about DustGrave? Kris does the Snowgrave Route 654 times, then during the end of the 655th, Noelle finally realizes that what she is doing is wrong and the final fight with Spamton turns into Kris VS Spamton NEO & Fully powered Snowgrave Noelle. I really want that as a mod.
