Possibly a weird route, a theory i have, is that chapter 4 will have religion themes, and that catti will have an important role here, why? Well, toby fox is... Lazy, he didn't make a face sprite for monster kid, even though they appears many times around the game, or mettaton, but he did face sprite for berdly and noelle, that's how i knew, they were gonna be important, i was right, the new characters on kris's classroom aren't filler characters, they will eventually became important, and its been forshadowed to be a point where kris and susie will go to a church, that's my theory

Lemme just say, The Animation for this is really dang good. I feel the Mandela Catalog theming kinda takes over what was originally suppose to be a Deltarune Boss theme, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I enjoyed the video and subtle nods here and there. You did an excellent job, and keep up the good work ^^.

anyone else notice fan animations and etc that take place in chapter 2 or beyond have the chapter 1 stats, kris had 90 hp in this animation but in chapter 2 he has like over 140, (i forgot the exact number), and in chapter 3 he would prob be over 200 hp.

But the whole thing about speknspell IS that its photorealistic, its like photoshop flowey, it breaks the normal rules of the battles which is scary, taking that away makes it less interesting, especially when adding so much unsubtle christian symbolism

Honestly, I kinda preferred the old Speak and Spell. I know it was supposed to be a Placeholder for Gospell, but the idea that a Darkner saw so far past the veil that they became full aware of what they truly are and ended up in this state of existing and non-existence in tandem is honestly great horror. This thing doesn't belong. it knows it doesn't belong. It has seen God, and must share its revelation with you, the Sinner who controls Kris.

Honestly I think that I really like the placeholder “Biblically Accurate Darkner” design for the Speak n Spell best- though honestly based on analysis of the gumball machine, it’s possible that we *will* get a Biblically Accurate Darkner in the form of… Gummy? No, it’d be more fitting if it was just the model number or the name of the brand or something, for spoopy purposes

This was... Actually a massive disappointment for me. And I'll do my best to explain why in a constructive manner. First off... Why use the Mandela Mix for this?????? Mandela Catalogue, as a story, clashes MASSIVELY with Deltarune's in terms of tone and usage of the term "Angel". If you wanted to use a lyrical cover, you should've used GamePlayah's cover, which is much more faithful and a better representation of the initial idea behind Chart's HEAVEN SAYS concept. The decision to make this a DR/MC crossover confuses me to no end. Secondly, if you wanted this to be a Battle animation and not a Music video, then you should have made the attacks more involved instead of having more than half of them be cutscenes. Kris doesn't even move or have to dodge anything for most of the video. There's this big, climactic, grandiose atmosphere... And then the boss's attacks are the easiest things in the world to dodge. I'd be less upset about this if this project was advertised as a music video instead of a "Battle" animation. Third, why does Gospell just sort of... Die abruptly at the end, without Kris attacking them? They aren't visibly weakened by the other attacks, so it looks like they give up and self-destruct for no apparent reason. Kinda anticlimactic, there.

All the effects are beautiful, the attacks look SO cool, I love that the spelling parts of the song are an actual spelling minigame, and the rainbow after images of Gospell are so cool.
