I just realized how well the color pallets work here. Giving Chapter 1 more blues makes it more winter-y than autumn-y, which helps Noelle out a lot, and recontextualizing Scarlet Forest’s black and red from a dark woods with falling leaves to a beautiful-looking contrast of building and sky somehow makes Susie both fit in with the area’s fall aesthetic AND still lets her stand out as specifically Halloween-themed.

personally i think theres a huge lack of bass in this track, the triangle could've been louder and overall the instrumentation just seems weak. i think the first lead is also offkey? i think the arrangement definitely has potential and the motif choice is great at some points.

melody is a bit off in terms of recreating from the original scarlet forest motif. definitely lacks a punchy bass. needs some mixing work - it's not eggregious but just a bit of EQ to de-muddify the mix. melody also loops too much, not enough variation. the potential is huge though. this is a really great mid-way draft of whatever they're cooking. cooking up good tunes here.

Going off of information we've gotten so far from Chapter Rewritten, Ranger is less than pleased by the idea of Susie inviting Asriel and especially Noelle to the library with them. Susie is Ranger's only friend, and he didn't like Noelle even before they entered the Dark world. Ranger is probably feeling hurt and betrayed by this. He probably feels like he is losing Susie to people like Noelle and Qing and is probably lashing out. At least that is my take.

And Chapter Rewritten's mansion will more look like the Castle Wolfenstein. And Qing's Giga form will like Mecha Hitler from Wolfenstein, but with the rocket launcher on his back.

Im kinda new to this AU, could soem9ne explain a little about whats going on (besides the fact its rewrote chapters)

Basically, here are the fundamentals. The chapters swap, so that means Asriel swaps with Kris, Noelle swaps with Susie and Charkis is kinda unknown (I don’t know who they’re a swap of). Berdly and Lancer swap, King and Queen swap etc, so queen would become the queen of a card kingdom (and is now named Kueen) and king turns into the ruler of the cyber world (and is now named Qing) Nerdly is the Lancer replacement and Ranger is the Berdly replacement. This is scarlet city, the equivalent to the cyber city in chapter 2, swapped with the scarlet forest from chapter 1. This takes place in chapter 2 though

I'm waiting deltarune chapter 3 and 4 to see new deltarune chapter rewritten content. Chapter 3 should be modern styled, and chapter 4 medieval styled Modern chapter swaps with medieval chapter again... but chapter 5 and chapter 6 should be medieval. Alternative deltarune cr: Chapter 1 - Chapter 6 Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 Honestly. Modern chapters swap with modern chapters, and medieval chapters swap with medieval chapters.
