I just realized, after a year of this being out, the best way I could put my opinions on this wonderful song. This song, compaired to the official [[BIG BANG]] that Joker “took over” (more like just “took”), is like, and this is a very deltᴀrune AU fan thing to say, but it’s like the difference between Mike’s Big Showdown’s Legacy and Updated versions, where the Legacy version has more attack variety but isn’t executed the best and the Updated version has better balance but less mechanics due to how it was balanced. Like, a lot of attacks went from hard and random to easy and non-random even though making the attacks less random already on its own makes them easier. Like, this song has a lot more song in it, but it’s also more serious or sinister than [[BIG BANG]], where as [[BIG BANG]] is a little goofier, a little sillier even, a little more of what you’d expect, but with a lot less of what you wouldn’t. Pretty much all of Joker’s “improved” songs were like that now that I think of it. Less song in your song better executed but with less creative control. Hopefully when the new versions get done, they’ll be able to have a good mix of both.
