In undertale every action changed the outcome. Yet people tended to be cruel. In deltarune that choice is taken away...possibly as punishment. Yet people still manage to find a violent path. I feel this is gaster deciding to take matters into his own hands and stop the player himself. Otherwise the outcome would just get dark Darker And yet darker still... Untill there is nothing left. This theme sounds like the desperation of someone who lost everything and yet still is struggling to fix his mistakes and save everyone. Yet no matter how hard he tries.... All he can do is watch. Until finally he gets a chance... One chance to change everything........ To escape......to LIVE! All that stands in his way is the player....

Yet you can seem to understand why you find these voices so familiar. *1:30 this causes you so much wonder you take a moment to try and remember, that's when you dose off, you see the beings behind the voices, your old friends, the people you killed, and the people you were going to kill. Then it comes to you….your name never mattered all that did. Was that you were meant to kill them all =) *2:45 Then you see it, a tall dark figure it looks at you, it’s very essence seems to be warping in and out of this void. It looks as though it has been looking at you, watching you, this entire time. Yes, more Gaster! I'm imagining this being Gaster fighting Kris, who has torn out their soul and therefore their connection to the player. He decides to help you out. If he wins, Kris has to put their soul back and let you play. If Kris wins, they can leave their soul, locking you out of the game permanently. You'd control the soul like in the cage, but your goal is to get hit until Kris reaches 1 HP. However, Kris is knocking attacks out of the way, making things harder. If you reach 1 HP before Gaster, you win. If not, you lose.

There was once a man that spoke in hands Who knew the boundaries of his world well So well he managed to survive the space that lived between So that despite the fate handed to him, he could live on There were those who knew, those who he enlightened with wisdom for no mortal being And there are those who didn't, those who lived through every timeline without a trace of remembrance Those who knew were few, for he knew to recklessly spread such knowledge would endanger them all And the ones who knew were frayed, broken. not nearly as him of course, but the knowledge still took its tole. So he hid away, away from the fate that awaited him. Then, there were the occurrences. There was the player, the people, strange beings he didn't know from a strange place outside his grasp He hid himself the best he could, but there were the curious, the adventurous, and those strange moments where things would line up just right, and people would find him by accident. His followers too, they spread news without knowing who they were spreading it too. Then, other things started to change along with him. The world itself realigned, new people, new buildings started appearing with no reason as to why Then, it went silent, And slowly, the players disappeared Leaving only him and the abyss Then, he saw something. A glimmer, a chance. A spark of creation that was recognizable to him It was like no other, a scale larger than any other than him could've known. A world flourished, built from the same fabric the original was, but it was different. It's walls were thinner and being there at the dawn gave him a kinship with it beyond knowing. And as he predicted, the players found how he influenced the world. His whisperings, everything. He watched the start play out again, but this time. It was so much closer Almost in arms reach Words. And his voice, he had it. He remembered the tragedy the struck the world so many times before, the old one. He wanted to stop it, he was DESPERATE to stop it. The genocide, the empty pacifism. So he did something about it, he took something from it He took choice. He stole choice. He reinforced the idea that it was not the players story And so the players followed along as he had hope But then they found it The thing he took The thing he had to take. They were not happy and he was not either, but through this name, this code that was their character They took choice back, and along with it they took the security of all he held dear. The story is not done. Not his, nor the player's, nor the worlds, It's just getting ready for a second act is all.
