I don't get why people think there'll be a new megalovania in Deltarune, the most likely is a remix same as in the other big projects Toby took a big part in. That said I really like Deltalovania.

I think its a possibility Megalovania will be in Deltarune as Megalovania was in every game made by Toby. Though I dont think its a new version like this one it would be just a remix like in Undertale. Toby did push for Megalovania to be in Smash which proves that outside of artistic side of things he knows how to take care of his brand

Though my personal theory, I'm 85% sure that a certain character who likes to "strike back" from our control can have a reused Earthbound theme thats very similar to Megalovania. It just makes too much sense not to happen if you ask me

Ive heard this theory sadly I dont remember who made it so correct me if you know who made it, but since Undertales DT was a metaphor for players godlike abilities, in Deltarune DT might be a metaphor for creating fiction as a creator

@@user153xhzbso8e Well, it has been said all Lightners have it, my theory is that Undertales DT still exists here, which can explain Kris' red soul, why their soul is the strongest and why theyre the only ones that can seal fountains (Human soul being stronger than the Monsters soul like in UT), but in this universe this power may be called something else. Deltarunes DT is probably present in Undertale as well (Sans' doors, Gaster visiting the Dark World) but it wasnt called Determination. We have 2 powers, one lets you control time and space, save and load, one lets you literally create a seperate world within dead objects

My theory is that deltarune is about 2 puppeteer/players. You and Gaster, both fighting with your puppets/pawns… Kris(your pawn) is a loose cannon however… Sans was one of Gasters pawns(hence the GASTER blasters). You might be collecting the crystals/glass shards for a final fight.
