To be fair, he does have a lot to do with deltarune, specifically. UNDERTALE just has mentions of him scattered here and there that you'll very rarely see in any normal circumstance and you wont even see him directly unless you purposely frick with the files, whereas in deltarune his leitmotif is present in MANY of the songs, mus_smile (may have a different name) plays when near the doors of the bunker, and the "Well, there is a man here." easter *egg* behind the tree may have something to do with him. So I have a theory: Deltarune is a prequel to Undertale, not a sequel (Sorry if that’s common knowledge). Jevil is who sans was, and Papyrus is lancer. I believe their skeletons were found and injected with determination. Sans has no memory of his former life, neither does papyrus. They woke up underground together, saw they were the same race, and became bros. They felt like family to eachother at that point. King Asgore went with it because he needed more followers. This is where gaster comes into play. He injects sans (not papyrus) with determination. He falls into the CORE and that’s the last anyone saw of him. Sans was appointed judge and papyrus just wanted to be popular and recognized. I have no proof, but it’s a fun little theory of mine. Editing this one year later: Toby Fox debunked this whole theory but it’s still kinda fun

After doing some research, I've managed to deduce just how broken a Sans/Jevil fusion would be. It's more powerful than expected. By combining the ATK, we're left with 8 ATK. Now, taking into account Sans' ability to reduce your INV to zero, as we all know, that'd result in a single attack being able to hit once per frame, or 30 times per second. Now, let's do some quick math, which leads to the result. 8 × 30 = 240. Yeah, that's right. 240 if you get hit by one attack for 30 frames. A single attack could kill you in a *second* . Now, let's add KR, Sans and Jevil's habit of using ridiculously hard to dodge patterns, the fusion's high health and notable DF, (3501 HP and 6 DF), AS WELL AS Sans' dodging skills, having your soul turned blue at times, the occasional light blue attack, etc, and you've got yourself Death Incarnate. Oh, and if we add my ideas for the Jevil half's presence to potentially "augment" Gaster Blasters, well... yeah. *You're* *##**#ing* *screwed.*

Probably. In my opinion though, I think that if Jevil and Sans were to fuse, I believe that Jevil's presence in it would allow the fusion to "augment" its Gaster Blasters, allowing them to do more stuff. You'd know what they'd be capable of by looking at the blasters, because the modified blasters would have a suit on their head, (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs and Spades), that'd give a warning as to what'd happen. This is what I think they'd do... Heart: Fires off a beam that widens as it travels, making it harder to dodge the further you are from the Gaster Blaster. Diamond: Fires off a barrage of high speed projectiles in a manner akin to a minigun. Club: Fires a beam that ricochets off the wall of the box three times, making it difficult to avoid unless you're good at figuring out where the beam will move upon hitting the wall of the box. Spade: Locks onto the SOUL's position, turning to where the SOUL currently is until the last second before it fires a beam.

I had to try almost fifty times to beat Jevil the first time but I xan beat him easily at this point... I can't quite get past Sans's last attack yet but I also only play a fan game to fight him with replaced sprites but the same attacks (cause I don't wanna hurt anyone) so I haven't practices Sans nearly as much or as recently... though I'm pretty sure I could still beat them both at once if I had to... now why they'd be fighting me, I don't know... I'm really not much of a sinner... unless you count all those times I trashed the manual in front of Ralsei's face for a darkburger... in that case... I understand XD

They are also the dictionary definition of order and chaos down to the ways of how they fight. Sans is in charge of his own fight, he bends the rules to make your life as miserable as possible. He poisons you with Karma, turns the game into a platformer, and attacks you in a well coordinated manner. Jevil is in charge of himself, he sprays projectiles at you like there’s no tomorrow. A simple yet effective strategy. He takes the “hell” in bullet hell very seriously. However their attacks stick way too much to their formula, Sans’ attacks get predictable over time and Jevil wastes most of his projectiles he fires. (seriously, about a third of what he throws at you flies away to the edge of the hitbox) Which is why these two would be absolutely perfect to compromise each other’s faults and only god can help us if they ever teamed up.
