Fun fact: Spam emails were considered to be at their absolute worst in 1997, when spambot servers were getting really prolific but no proper way to filter emails for spam existed yet. This is probably why Spamton remembers that year so fondly. The end of 1997 saw the introduction of the Mail Abuse Prevention System, which significantly curbed the issue (hence Spamton's sales plummeting all of a sudden, leaving him destitute). Spamton NEO is themed around phones instead. Spam robocalls are still an issue today... No wonder he thinks it's his next chance at making it [Big]. Anyway, can't wait for Deltarune Chapter 3: Weekend at Berdly's!

@@Sjors_ It certainly isn't, as for my understanding. On my hobby quest, together with my sister, we are striving to gather all the most fancy words out there to make our English exams better. We are German, so for us those are fancy words. It's like this: "Inside the bar, I felt a certain thirst unlike before. Walking towards the Barkeeper I said: "Good evening sir, I am feeling rather parched, do you have any beverages to quell this thirst?" Some shit like that..

Fun fact: exclusively in the snowgrave route, if you inspect the coloured sliding toy in the hospital, it will say that the blue piece has been broken. Hmmmmmmmmm.

i checked the wiki and found some interesting bits about snowgrave run details i wanted to share some of my favorites- "There are many hints to the Snowgrave Route throughout the chapter. The Manual written by Ralsei in Castle Town states that breaking bonds through violent actions could "make you stronger." If Lancer is checked in the inventory right after Noelle first joins Kris, he notices her and asks "Can we make them a bad guy?" Usually, when winning fights violently, the game states that the party has grown stronger; however when with Noelle the game states "Noelle got stronger" instead. Additionally, Noelle's Coldness stat increases for every enemy frozen. If Spamton is defeated violently on the normal route, he points out their cruelty and states "YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE ALL THAT EARLIER! AND BEEN THE FIRST TO OWN MY [Commemorative Ring]," referring to the Thorn Ring."

The most horrifying part of this route in my opinion (excluding the obvious), is that Kris has to watch this happen. Kris has to watch as someone they don't know, that they can't fully comprehend, controls their body like a puppet and manipulates an old friend of theirs, as Kris. They have to watch as they manipulate Noelle into killing people, into killing her friend. For all we know, Kris could be screaming and crying internally, unable to do anything to hinder or stop this situation as it gets worse and worse, more and more twisted, darker yet darker...

I also have a theory, that at least half of the responses options you can choose are actually Kris' which is why you get a choice to pick between what Kris wants to say and what the Soul wants to say. It'd mean that Kris would try anything they could do to change the player's mind by giving them responses to stop the rampage and protect Noelle.

Another Easter egg is that Noelle HP drops to 55 which is i think an indikator for the Undertale reference of "LV". Which is an acronym for "Level of Violence".

@@dekusi1857 no, I don't think they are. I can't remember what exactly, but I'm pretty positive there's like a line or something that shows Kris doesn't wanna be doing this. There's also a thing where if Kris dies in the Berdly fight Noelle still hears the proceed voice, and isn't Kris's voice. The latter one obviously doesn't necessarily imply that Kris doesn't want to be doing it, but still.

One fun little detail about this run is that at first, Noelle jumps in fright when battles begin, but as she gets Stronger, her animation changes so that she is literally letting herself be dragged into battle.

Similar deal with her guard animation as well. She usually just brings her hands up in front of her. Once she's stronger, though, she instead takes advantage of her ice abilities to form a barrier.

If you defeat the first Queen battle a certain way in the first fight then Berdly injures his arm, which translates to the real world… So using the attack called “fatal” on him… Well you can guess the results

I hate that we don't know how Kris feels about snowgrave, the only way to know it is by the other characters reacting to Krise's expression or way to say things (for example: it you make them say they are gamers, Susie says that they said it without any passion). But when Susie is about to say what's Kris expresión...RALSEI interrupts and changes the subject, I don't trust that goat

I would actually say its harder. I beat normal route spamton first try, but snowgrave spamton took many tries. Also, now that I think about it, Wes is still wearing the mannequin right? That makes spamton easier.

@@PikaPenny17 I wasn't aware the mannequin would make it easier - However, I don't think he could buy the mannequin in the snowgrave route since all of the addisons run away I will say, having a small health pool due to only having Kris did make it harder for me the first time around, but when I'm used to the spamton fight it seems to be equally as easy

There is a hidden animation at 9:00. When you have to let Noelle stay on the platform she is for a small second thinking about stepping of the button to electrocute Kris, stopping him on his tracks. It goes to show how deeply Noelle hates everything but is easily intimidated into obedience. Most likely trauma from her caused by her strict mother, her father being hospitalised and her sister Dess being (for yet to be revealed circumstances) dead.

Man this is an enjoyable and creepy route to watch but I hate what they did to my girl Noelle :') she deserves better!! Fr it's not common I really love the sweet and innocent type characters but I know from experience how hard it is to just be a regular teenager when you have a sick parent, let alone being as dedicated to kindness as she is. She's a wonderful character. Curse you Kris (or whatever is controlling them) for trying to take that away from her!

Compared to undertale, in deltarune, you are swapping between metatextual context and non metatextual context left and right. Due to it going meta on some many layers be it narrative, visual or gameplay it is certainly hard to create theories without getting lost in the sub context of what is factually plausible in our grasp of information and what is bogus. It really does not help that Deltarune is deeply interconnected with Undertale due to refrences and character traits being almost 1:1 applicable in this Deltarune universe, despite being its own cannon and not having any relation to Undertale except the characteres and thats it. So far I could create on top of my head different thought patterns and approches to this universe and how it opperates but it certainly makes my head spin and hurt. Hey guys, if your up for some theory stream talk with what we have in Deltarune, iam more than down about it! I would gladly hear what u 3 are thinking about the story so far and what it stands to accomplish and or potray to its audience.. In the end to qoute a adorable shop keeper "It does not matter, come back here when it´s all over. I´ll make tea, so we can toast to the end of the world! Hahaha!", I cant wait to see what Toby has in store for us!
