I love the costume for Spamton in this. When the glasses are blank, it really gives off this cold, sinister vibe. The language and the way these lyrics are written is so amazing. It's like he's become such a twisted, bitter character that's so different from the usual wacky manic salesman. "If the cheapskates want some fun well then we'll dish it out with force" has immense vengeful energy to it. Like he really has become sick of being a puppet living in a garbage can while Queen and "the only people who matter" are living it up in the city. "The devil's right the ring designed a hell that's never hot" is such a damn good line. The lyrics deal with such a dark subject matter but it never feels edgy or immature, it's always genuinely well-thought out. I absolutely love it, bravo!

I'm surprised that no one pointed this out: At 2:05, in second Noelle's chorus, you can see frozen Berdly behind Noelle, while at 3:12, in third Noelle's chorus, you can see that Kris is frozen instead of Berdly (Kris' sprite that being used is the sprite of them falling when they enter the dark world) and at 3:22 you can see their red eye. As someone who barely knows anything about the snowgrave route other than how to start it Noelle is either unintentionally or unwillingly killing people while Spamton becomes considerably more notable to the plot (or memeable, dunno) and there's all sorts of manic energy revolving around everything he does Also I can't tell if several of those lines are about burning the city or just playing fun at the fact it's cold themed Absolutely manic and I have no clue what's important and what isn't.

@@somewhereelse1235 it is basically what happens SPOILERS: Noelle is forced to freeze everything, commanded by the player. Spamton at one point will sell the "commemorative ring" - Thorn ring, which boosts magic and damages the wearer over time. We continue onwards and meet berdly. Fight insues, in which Noelle is forced to use "Snowgrave". After some pushing onto Noelle, she straight up freezes and, presumably, kills Berdly. After this Noelle leaves the party and the route continues...semi normally. We use the manhole to travel to the red carpet leading to mansion, but there's no queen to capture us. We proceed inside and firstly see the stone-fied Roulxs blocking swatches inside of the cafe. As we travel deeper into the mansion we notice, that there's a whole damn lot of pipis scattered around. As you might've guessed, Spamton sneaked inside mansion basement while all of this commodity was happening and became NEO, overtaking the mansion. We make it to the top and don't fight queen, as she is stopped by Ralsei telling her about fountains being bad and blah blah blah. It seems as an easy victory. Just go and close the fountain! But... Kris meets spamton NEO that interupts the closure. Fight ensues. It's basically the same but you're fighting all alone. 10% hp left, and Spamton ups his defences. Kris begs Ralsei to help. But nobody came. Kris begs Susie to help. But nobody came. *WE* whisper Noelle's name. Spamton gets killed. We wake up in class. All of us, except Berdly. He doesn't wake up. It's either that he's straight up dead, or he's unconcious, but a lot of aspects suggest the fact that he IS dead. From the fact that the Snowgrave description is just "Lethal", to Berdly's arm being fried in dark world on non-pacifist route, and his arm being in unusable condition while he woke up

Either way his dreams get crushed, if you beat him up in normal route, the body of NEO is permanently destroyed and he turns into a scarf, if you spare him, he just collapses, which is the saddest thing in this game imo, and in snowgrave well... he may achieve his now twisted dreams thanks to you,but he's still a puppet on strings, and he ends up being frozen and killed anyway. And if you chose to simply ignore him in a normal route by not doing his sidequest, he just gets left behind, which is way worse. Atleast in the normal route spamton has a moment of clarity and realises he can't do anything about his situation and decides to join us, even if we crushed his dreams by destroying the neo body. In snowgrave though... by freezing everyone, he realises that this might be his only chance to success, and goes down an evil path instead by enabling and taking advantage of you. It doesn't matter in the end, that ring that he sold was his downfall. There is one thing about Spamton that is certain; He's [Desperate], and he will do anything to become free, it's up to us to give him a happier end in his realisation that it's impossible.

I love this song so much, it really encapsulates the horrifying concept of Snowgrave. It still has the chaos from Spamton, but it feels much more darker with the choirs and melodies, and it such a banger. It really is addicting to hear. Noelle's chorus sounds amazing too, melancholic yet dark. The "Hear their voice, they are with me in the dark" hite like a truck. A part i would like to high light is 2:49. For me, it really sells the atmosphere for how uncanny it sounds. In the song we only hear two times Spamton saying his most known line, but he never finishes, always glitching out in the "[BIG SHOT]", so this part was quite unexpected for me. And he repeating the line emotionlessly so many times and he apparently staring right at you is really uncomfortable. And that's why i love it lmao. Also, don't know if I'm crazy, but isn't 4:02 similar to My Castle Town? Not the melodies, but the structure of them.

This has been sitting in my Watch Later list for ages and I FINALLY listened to it all the way through and now I can't stop listening to it! I've had it on loop most of today! This is probably the most chilling Deltarune song I've ever heard ngl. Spamton is so creepy in both his looks and his lyrics (and the singer must have lungs of steel to keep going line after line without taking a breath!) and Noelle's part is downright haunting. "Hear their voice, they're with me in the dark" sent ALL the chills down my spine. The words and her tone of voice as she sang it. And how her expression changes every time she sings her chorus. In the first one she looks really scared, in the second one less scared, and in the third one almost angry. And Kris being the one in the ice in the third chorus. I remembered how Noelle argued with herself in the game about how she had been tempted to step off the laser button and let it kill them, and her shock when Kris responded like they could hear her internal monologue and her reluctant resignation as she agrees when they tell her it's only natural to feel that way. Amazing work with this whole thing, and bravo to you and everyone involved with it!

I love how at 1:43 the camera's movements gain a waver, like even the omnipotent camera isn't quite sure what will happen next. It really highlights how even at his prime, Spamton never truly knew what could happen, or what eventually did happen.

I went into this thinking "Oh something similar to stupendium but for snowgrave, it will be ok... i was *DEAD* Wrong this is a amazing banger of a song. it plays with the themes of control and feeling lost/trapped that are key parts of Deltarune, And it ties in Spamton from both routes into 1 consistent character. he mentions his [Commemorative ring] multiple times during the normal route, its clear he always had the plan for Snowgrave (And its clear that Toby was intending for a player going through a no mercy run to notice him mentioning the ring when you defeat him violently, and discover Snowgrave themselves). as a mirror to that i like how the lyrics for his "sales pitch" are very similar to his intentions in the normal route "Now's your chance to be a" fight, but with darker tweaks for his different intentions, like the soul going from something he wants to something others want, he's seen how the soul is using Noelle and is trying to make the player defensive of that power. Also the line [kid] THERE’S SOME WHO [wanna listen?] BUT SOME [chumps] THEY WANT IT FIRST, TAKE THEIR TIME AND TAKE THEIR HEART AND THEN [control] WILL SOON RETURN has like 5 interpretations that could tie into Kris, Spamton and Noelle all at the same time with some healthy Gaster/Knight implications sprinkled in for good measure. It wouldn't say a sequel, probably a counterpart. Just like the Snowgrave route. Ad Infinitum was chaotic as hell, just like Spamton in the main route. But this Spamton is much more eerie, he looks he's "playing" seriously now, taking advantage of Noelle's rampage on the city to take over the Queen's palace and become [God]. He's not pushing you to buy something, but pushing you to continue the slaughter, it's his plan to success. A more darker tone yet with a dose of chaos we're all used to.

I'm not sure what to call it, but I love the like...creepypasta kinda vibe with the editing? Just that surreal janky quality, cropped and blacked out faces and teeth, freezeframes and...I'd call it "stutter animation" where things are unnervingly *jittery* and low framerate, all used to great horror ends and a sort of uncanny valley feel Like, some stylistic choices here feel like they're right out of knockoff creepypasta number whatever, but are used to legitimately unnerving ends. Comparable to an earned jumpscare if you will, jumpscares being a technique that many poorly implement...but once in a while, there's someone who knows how to EARN that scare and make it *work* My delirious rambling aside that hopefully made at least some sense, god those eyes must have been *hell* to edit, good job cause keeping that tracking from breaking could not have been easy alongside the actual visuals too

I thought of something, Around the beginning, at 0:32, The lyrics has Spamton's iconic line cut off at "Big Shot", This might be an indication that even through the chaos and greed he has went through, still couldn't be a big shot. At 1:40, It does the same thing again, but this was also the start of Snowgrave which explains why he was wrapped in the green vines. 2:04 Is the time where Snowgrave REALLY begins, with Berdly being frozen in the background, This was presumably when Spamton started his plan to become Neo 2:49 And finally, at this time stamp, Spamton finally says the line, It indicates that he has finally found the right opportunity to become [BIG SHOT], And he can properly call himself as said [BIG SHOT] Yet, as in the game, He stated that he wasn't big enough... Which explains the ending. This might be me looking into it too much but i think it might be a purposeful detail

While not as technically impressive as Stupes' Spamton, the imagery of him in this video is fascinating. Everything is cobbled together in a way that feels reminiscent of the Omega Flowey fight in Undertale. And the use of strong shading coupled with that blank, googly stare is just /eerie/, especially when it references the creepy smile from Queen's basement by covering his entire face in darkness. Absolutely phenomenal.

A cheery song that conveys such a dystopian tone. On the base it seems to be mildly off putting, yet there is an antecedent tone of lacking control, a scream, vitriol-esque, outcrying for freedom. Wonderful. I love this type of stuff! I especially love the juxtapose of "[wanna listen?]" and the subtle lack of a comma in "Who's to blame(,) the puppeteer of my heart?" and it's implication. The inclusion of 'BIGSHOT' and 'WHO WANTS TO BE A' is splendid. The fact he can't say 'BIG SHOT' whilsg in context of himself, implying he _lost the right, adding to his lack of freedom, to the point he is merely almost an empty vessel of an idol._ You've done research.
