YO! This is the final episode of Deltatraveler (for now)! Hope you guys enjoy Obliteration Hard Mode! I'll do chapter 3 as SOON as it's released, but in the meantime we have tons of other fangames to play, as well as several other series I'm covering on the channel! Coming up - Super Mario RPG Nuzlocke continues (SO much fun, check out episode 1 now!), Sonic Dream Team, Undertale Gold, Fear & Hunger, and some other stuff if I have the time! Just going to let you know section 3 is released but only its demo. Sec 3 is gonna be released around the end of this year

The Demo is seven years old, and it's safe to assume it will come out on the second, during Underevent. So you could play the full thing come a week.

So I've noticed a difference between Kris and Frisk in the two modes. You have Kris who can't really stop the route cause they don't have much control, and Frisk who will play along with it, like their attempt to do something to Noelle.

In undertale the one playing along really is Chara (I am not saying they're the one who is killing people, we, the player, are the ones doing that, the only ones we didn't do was the 2nd hit in a row to sans, the hit to Asgore and the multiple ones to flowey, as I don't remember pressing the fight button on all of those hits), Chara starts "understanding her purpose" ever since the ruins, the red text and the "Its me, Chara" starts there after all Instances of Chara moving is the papyrus fight, the cutscene before the undyne fight (which confuses me as Frisk looked away from monster kid when they asked if what undyne said is true, it's weird if Chara does that but saying that moment is Frisk would go into theory territory), the metatton fight and the sans fight, all of which are the cutscenes before the fight starts, only instance of Frisk moving that I remember is before fighting Omega Flowey, and instance of Frisk showing an emotion (that's being told directly to us) is after true pacifist, Frisk is happy there, and they still are even post-genocide

​​@@mariotheundyingHow can you be sure that it's Chara controlling Frisk and not Frisk moving on his own? We've already seen Frisk move, or do things, on his own in the pacifist/neutral routes, routes where Chara couldn't "take possession of his body", I'm pretty convinced that all Chara has done is encourage you to commit those genocides, through "free EXP" style messages, and eliminating the world at the end of the genocide route, beyond that, all actions taken without the player's permission were caused by Frisk, being a character that follows the player's wishes, even if the player wants to restart everything and take another route, Frisk will not object, which happens with Chara, who erases the game from us and we have to make a deal to be able to play it again.

@@maikyanimation0174 Chara doesn't need to encourage you, you encouraged Chara in the first place, that's them being corrupted by you Frisk has no reason to help you in killing people, why would they? It's probably a snowgrave type of thing, where our vessel (Kris) can't do anything about it other than try to get people away from you (like when Kris whispered Ralsei's and Susie's name when you forced them to say it), which is why I think frisk kinda did that out of shame when monster kid asked, but then Chara took control and threatened MK Also, yes, Chara is motivated to do it, they say that they discovered their purpose when you started doing geno, they think getting stronger and getting rid of humanity is their purpose, and the only way to get stronger is to do geno, and then Chara asks you to stop doing geno and do pacifist

@@mariotheundying Kris was someone before we arrived, they had their own life and their own personality, and all of this is mentioned or hinted at throughout the game, which doesn't happen with Frisk, Frisk literally has no origin or personality, it's completely up to the player if Is someone good or bad, sensitive or tough, whether or not they have "other places to go" Kris is capable of opposing our control, he is not a Vessel, they are a person who had a life, but Frisk never objects, and there is nothing really that can disconfirm that he is a Vessel, completely empty and without will, being influenced , just like Chara, for the player, that's why I think the second part of your comment doesn't make much sense (with all due respect), mentioning that "Frisk has no reason to help you kill people", you treat it as if it were a independent character, which has never been said and is not known, instead of treating it as, well, something empty Otherwise it would be Frisk from Hard Mode, which I am convinced that, at the moment of calling the fallen human "Frisk", Frisk would become something independent and that could reveal itself against our control, and that is why there is not, and possibly there not will be a complete Hard Mode, because in reality it could only have been a "teaser" for Deltarune, a game with the same concept, but of course, this is just a theory, a GAME THEORY

The part where Frisk nearly stabs Noelle gives me chills every time i see it, and i remember feeling so robbed by that fight not happening when i played too 😭 gotta give it credit for staying true to how undertale's own hard mode went though - no secret extra badass fights there 😔 really glad you played this, it was a super fun watch and your reactions were awesome as usual!

I like the differences between regular Obliteration Route and Hard mode Obliteration because Susie *knows* Kris so she's angry about their behaviour but she's also clearly worried about them but with Frisk she doesn't know this kid. Like she does express concern at first but she starts threatening them for their behaviour quicker than with Kris

I’m glad to see more frequent uploads these days. We went from, “Yeah, maybe an episode of something next month,” to, “How about one or two a week?” I love it. Also, murder is cool. If you’re still accepting suggestions for fan games I have a somewhat difficult one that might interest you. It’s just a boss fight one based in the Underfell universe, you’ve seen the AU before, at the end of normal Deltatraveler and I think in the fan games video. Anyways, the game is called “One Hell of a Show,” It’s really good, I like it, maybe you will too. It might be a bit difficult but you like things like that, right? Anyways, even if you don’t play it, just thought I’d give a suggestion. I comment way too much on your videos.
