Sitting at about CP1500 now and have about 300 points basically unallocated or just put into stars that I don't have slotted. Somewhere around 1200 - 1300, CP stops working to progress the character. Gear sets and quality are still king and matter a lot more than CP.

Bro I'm so glad I know you. I'm a day 1 player, (who else remembers launch and hearing everyone groan about the immediate 24 hour install/update before you could even play?) And I took a long break and now I'm back and I remember hearing people talk about having gotten their build from you but didn't know who you were. I did the same as you! Just started playing again 3 weeks ago. Sadly the servers were so broken in those first few weeks I just opted to play on the Europe server even tho I am in the states. Now I have friends that wanted to play but they are on the North American server so I had to start all over from square one…it’s fun even tho it’s a little painful haha

This is definitely easy to learn. If you're returning from pre-CP2.0 then this is more or less just relearning. It'll take about the same amount of time it took you to learn CP1.0. I think current CP is much better, and anything not Vet Rank is good enough for me.

I'm not new to ESO. But I've never leveled a character to level 50. So I'm new to this champion point system. In a way, It kind of reminds of Skyrim. Now It looks like I can distribute points into three different categories. I have six different characters. My main character is a Warden. I'm pretty using the animals skills. My companion is Isobel. I solo most of the time. I built my Warden for dps. His main weapon is the bow. Do you have any good suggestions for that. Like, what's a good way to go from here?

I’ve got one question that nobody has been able to answer : as soon as I reach level 50 with a new character, it automatically jumps up to the other level characters I have. Meaning when my Sorc character reached 50, my CP and level was instantly at 1100, which is the level of my primary Necro character. Every new character I make does that, and although I appear at level 1100 the character is still nowhere near my main character, champion perks are nowhere near as advanced. Is anyone else experiencing this or have any idea what’s going on with this ?

Yes, this happens with all of your characters after they get to level 50. What do you mean by CP being “nowhere near as advanced” on your newer character as opposed to your main character?

@@ohapplesauce main character is over 1200 Cp, my next character just passed level 50 and is now also CP 1200+. ATTRIBUTES are not complete yet, Skill points for all aspects are not filled. Nowhere near as advanced. ITs level 50 appearing as level 1200 with level 50 skill set that is not complete compared to the main.

@@SinesOfLife2023 Ah, I think I understand now. I don’t think it’s the CP if your newer character is “unfinished,” as you say. Leveling out your entire skill set + attributes should balance it out eventually. Still, I am confused about how you don’t have all of your attribute points in if your character is level 50 now. Did you not upgrade them as you leveled up? There should be 64 in total. The difference between your classes could also be a huge factor as well as the gear you’re using. I have a wood elf stamblade and and a wood elf stamwarden, but my stamblade has higher stats in some things despite my warden having better gear and weapons.

Let's start by explaining how CP applies. CP applies to your account, not the character you got them on. That means because your necro has 1200 CP, any character that reaches level 50 on that same account, is automatically going to be given 1200 CP upon turning level 50. The second part is a problem because a level 50 is being granted an entire system that can only be used by a level 1200. The CP tree still requires the skills and attributes of the character to be at a level that a level 50 cannot get them to. So the CP buffs are not going to be active on the new level 50 even if they're unlocked and slotted in the CP tree.

@@ohapplesaucelevel ok so my Cp 60 is nowhere near as complete as my level 1500, that’s what I meant. The difference is huge, half of the passives arent complete yet. Going into a trial with a figure of 1600 and the toon is only level cp 90, but appears like a level 1600, the difference is massive. As soon as I get any character up to 50 I switch main character armor to the new toon, being the same class etc , and so, I’m still partially confused lol.

All of the character progression in this game feels like I'm doing absolutely nothing because of the way they set the game up, so everything is the same level. Then I finally get to level 50 and look at the champion tree and realize that there is not much progression left. Everything in the tree is so minor. I've been playing with 35k to 40k health since level 1. It has not changed at all the entire time. All my stats stay the same. And now you're telling me I can get an extra 2k health lol. Kinda feels like being kicked in the d!ck. When I used to play WoW, it was pretty cool when you were leveling your character, because you could always go back and mess around in lower level content to see how much your character has actually progressed. With eso, there is none of that. It's just hours of grinding with zero reward. What's the point, if you do the same damage and have the same health as someone who is level 10? Oh, sorry, slightly more damage and slightly more health lol.
